Keiran Halcyon
I have read that LucasArts is going to release X-Wing Trilogy (it means X-Wing, TIE Figther, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter Flight school (as bonus) and X-Wing Alliance. And they said that LucasArts said all the games will have the same System Requirements of XWA. Somebody Knows if this is true? I think it is not, because It will be useless to make Flight school with XWA engine and not XvT or BoP.... If it is true,....well DAMN IT!!!!! I do not want to but another copy of X-Wing and TIE Fighter (I have already two) I hope LucasArts give it free in exange of your old games (very unlikely but it doesn't hurt to dream.......) Keiran Halcyon
Wait wait....i'm confused, you said 2CDs? That is impossible! they should be at least 3!! XWA has 2 and XW and TIE could be in other. OR maybe you are mistaken the X-Wing Trilogy (X-Wing,TIE Fighter, FLight School, X-Wing Alliance) with X-Wing collector series ( 2CDs featuring X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Flight School with XvT-BoP engine) Please reply and tell me something
Rogue15
stop getting your hopes up. Xwing vs. TIE Fighter, no matter WHAT box it comes in, does NOT have X-Wing Alliance graphics. Its graphics are better than tie fighter's though.
Rogue15
but the demo, I have the demo. it came with X-wing and TIE Fighter collector series, and it uses xwing vs. tie fighter graphics. where'd u find that has xwa graphics??? link, please? Keiran Halcyon
Well I found The truth, and wonder where? In LucasArts.com!! But I thought they hadn't re-re-re-released :D:D:D it yet. Well, X-Wing and TIE Fighter had XvT-BoP graphics (as in the X-Wing collector series) About where I found X-W and TIE with XWA engine, well I don't remember, but they olny said that the three games had the same system requirements as XWA. In fact, LucasArts says it in this page http://www.lucasarts.com/products/trilogy/ see the official site (althoguh it's a lie ) But who wants to buy the trilogy if he cannot play XWA, Don't you think? ANd rogue15, I knew about the engine in XvT-BoP. I was asking about X-W and TIE
Rogue15
well, xwing looks different, that ****pit is a newer one... looks like the same graphics too...
Lynk Former
*sniff, sniff* You know... I used to be Corran Horn around here... that name was the most wanted name y'know... *shrugs* ah wellz, ya win some, ya lose some...
edlib
I think you hit the nail on the head: The requirements reflect the most up-to-date game in the box, XWA,.. and they feel that if you can run that one you should have no problems running everything else.
