I do hope you all realize...

The stars are aligning, and the sole purpose of Jedi Knight 2 coming out is to pave the way for my brother and I to once again reign supreme.

You see, we were the 2 most masterful saber wielders in all of Jedi Knight 1. Nobody could stand up to us or even begin to think about doing so.

Naturally I was the better of the two, making me the most awesome Jedi Knight 1 player to have ever existed. I fully expect to rise to this same status in JK2. And, Nooga Nooch... if you are out there, and I know you are since I spotted you in Counter-Strike a while back... I will have your head.

Anyway, just wanted to test out my ability to post here, just registered. I am of course being humorous, so pay me no heed.

Although, that said... it's all true :)

"Thats no moon, thats an Ego"

ahem... sorry, but i really dont see why people brag about being expert saberists, i mean all you do is strafe, run, crouch, and hit Z hoping your enemy will accidently run into your saber. theres really little-to-no skill involved in it... cept in mods like SBX, where the other moves actually do significant damage... and on another note, take me on in a game at oasis, i dare you. you with your saber, me with my arsenal. i really dont see the need though, seeing that it would take a maricle(yes, im aware i spelled that wrong, but the only thing my spell check is giving me is "maurice", so nyah) for your "glow stick" to come close to me when a rain of energy is flying in your direction...

True...you have to get close enough to kill...but remember in JO you can block energy shots...(I don't know about explosives though)

I'll admit saber battling is what distinguishes this game fom most.(well that and the force powers) But if you can't use a Disrupter well in a level where sabers are hard to pick up then your dead...

And don't think people are going to play on your home court every time...

As for me...I'm content with just...being the best and better than all of you!!! HAHAHAHAHAH;) :D

Damn ... hearing all this chit-chat about whos the best watchya ma call it makes me feel like loner...

I personally would definately be the most newbiest of all gamers since my field of expertise is ... prolly just chatting up girls ...

anyway ...

In regards to that ... I've seen a newb with a huge amount of lag practically own a veteran gunner. :D

And it takes skill to actually run and jump and swing ... cause a newb would practically use the first fire and run around whereas a skilled d00d would know when to jump and dodge and all that other humbug ... yadi yadi da ... me drifting away ...

Whoa ... Damn the Resident Evil movie trailer looks kewl ...

NOTE TO SELF: WATCH RESIDENT EVIL MOVIE.

PS: Miracle

Just to clear a few things up:

darthfergie: i was refering to JK1 at the time, though i see where you were confused, i didnt really specify..

cave: your more or less right, but my point was that it still takes very little skill for a below to above average player to be "good" in NF Sabers..

also i didnt mean to imply that i was the best. not at all, infact.. i consider myself pretty good at NF guns, nothing spectacular, but in JK1 a saber vs a conc usually ends in the conc winning, simply because the saber system in JK1, IMHO, sucked utterly... and i forgot the next thing i was gonna say, so [insert stuff here]

one last thing, this time about your "field of expertise"... really? heh if you teach me, ill teach you how to be a moron, because thats what IM an expert in.. muahaahhaa... ahem. k

P.S. thank you! arg.. heh dumb spelling junk..

Welcome to the forums, Pipe Smoke. ;) Enjoy your stay. Here...

*hands over a chocolate Jedi Medallion*

There you go.

As for egos and sabers, et al...the truth will emerge when the game arrives and people start playing it. I can't comment on my own online abilities because they've not been really tried and tested yet.

Suffice to say...if you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you could possibly imagine. ;)

Well I can safely say that you guys vastly underestimate the skill that was involved in saber wielding in JK1, and you vastly underestimate the power of that weapon.

My brother and I feared no gun, not even the hacked variety of the concussion gun or whatever, where it was automatic firing nonstop with unlimited ammo. That was a popular cheat as I recall. Even such hacks as that were not enough to stop us, every single time we would either steal the gun, or if not... just dodge, run up and grib... and saber, or just saber... and there is a lot involved in good sabering, even if it does kind of just boil down to trying to get behind the person and slash their back. There is still a lot to it, and all I know is, nobody could seem to ever stand up to us. I actually just installed the game again after years of absense, I felt like my skills were definately still there, though now I use a mouse and I didn't back then. A trackball actually, to be specific. I still need to figure out some key settings... which force powers to have auto-links to and where to have those keys... but I think after a bit more tweaking I might be interested in taking someone on that wanted a demonstration, but at this point I think I'll just wait for JK2, it's so soon now and I just want to dedicate myself to that. If I can be half as good at JK2 as I was at JK1, you're all in for a LOT of trouble :)
