Eets Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 http://www.lucasarts.com/products/swkotor/default.htm The site is UP! http://www.lucasarts.com/products/swkotor/default.htm
Com Raven Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 Well, doesn't seem as if we pc users will have to wait that long....
Eets Posted March 1, 2002 Author Posted March 1, 2002 Yeah, Spring 2003. At least that'll give em a while to get the bugs out of it from the X-Box version, so hopefully we'll have a better version for PC!
Darth Simpson Posted March 1, 2002 Posted March 1, 2002 Yeah, me too, aside from the obvious interface differences. The screens look absolutely awesome though!
Eets Posted March 1, 2002 Author Posted March 1, 2002 I dunno about the changed graphics. As you'll find out, half of the screenshots just released are X-Box screens, and the other half are PC screens.
Jake Posted March 2, 2002 Posted March 2, 2002 Hmm... guess who saw the game today? -- ZeroXcape (using Jake's LFN account)

Com Raven Posted March 2, 2002 Posted March 2, 2002 Lol, I wouldn't even hope for it as my afterlife.... Now all we want is a LG KotOR site...
Pedro The Hutt Posted March 2, 2002 Posted March 2, 2002 hmm... that guy in them shots doesn't look a thing like a Jedi to me.
StormHammer Posted March 2, 2002 Posted March 2, 2002 Originally posted by Com Raven Now all we want is a LG KotOR site... I second (and third) that motion. With the forums to match. I like the design of the official site, though...it's in keeping with the theme for the JKII one, I feel... As for the character in the shots not looking like a Jedi...well, I think it's sort of like the outfits shown in the Tales Of The Jedi graphic novels, which are of the same time period. Besides, I would assume your characters are very customisable in terms of appearance and equipment. It is an RPG, after all, and it would be a bit strange if you couldn't alter the appearance of your characters... ZeroXcape...you lucky...person. Sounds awesome, from what Aristotle was saying.
Guest Sarcastic Saint Posted March 3, 2002 Posted March 3, 2002 Despite that i havent seen the game in motion...it still sorta reminds me of Omikron: Nomad soul...i dont know it looks good but characters look a little...eh..."woody" if you know what i mean. Like there animation isnt very smooth...well but like i said i have to see it motion. Still it kind of sucks about the whole X-box/Pc thing....but i understand. But looking at the shots...i makes me wonder...what kinds of (pc) specs are attached to that?
Com Raven Posted March 3, 2002 Posted March 3, 2002 Think NWN specs, and add maybe 100 mhz and 1 generation of gpu... As for the animations, well they were ethusiasticly praised by thiose so saw them...
Darth Lunatic Posted March 6, 2002 Posted March 6, 2002 The game visually looks fantastic at the moment. It is set IMO, during the best timeline for star wars. With thousands of Sith and Jedi battling for dominance. This could be one awfully addictive game.
Com Raven Posted March 6, 2002 Posted March 6, 2002 Hell, my favourite universe and my favourite pc game company, I expect a freakin lot...
Jake Posted March 6, 2002 Posted March 6, 2002 From what we gathered part of the reason the PC ver is coming out late is because they realized it would collide release date wise with Galaxies, and while the games are different enough it was unnecessary competition.
