elTee Posted March 4, 2002 Posted March 4, 2002 Hey, nice one Ron. If it were that easy to sell your game idea these days...
Wossname Posted March 4, 2002 Posted March 4, 2002 I wish it were true, but really, how many Ron Gilbert inspired games do you see coming out lately? How many adventure games do you see coming out? How many comedy games? He _should_ be highly influential, but I'm not sure he actually is.

Gabez Posted March 6, 2002 Posted March 6, 2002 Nice to see an up to date picture of the man himself, too. Didn't he have a game he was working on called Good & Evil? That sounded amazing, but wasn't it canned?
Benny Posted March 6, 2002 Posted March 6, 2002 Yeah It looked really good, I was really looking forward to it. I cant really remember why it got canned, it was quite far in production.
JackTheGaffer Posted March 7, 2002 Posted March 7, 2002 I thought he was deving a game for like 5 year olds and it had a pirat and a big pink thing in it.
Metallus Posted March 7, 2002 Posted March 7, 2002 Yeah, he's responsible for Bing Bong Island too. That game was hard.
Navhead Posted March 10, 2002 Posted March 10, 2002 Yeah Good and Evil looked great, I still have a games mag with an interview with Gilbert and stuff about G&E. I believe it never got finished because Cavedog went under.
