Galactic Battles.com have been given an opportunity to have an exclusive interview with Garry Gaber - Director of SWGB. The interview will take place the latter part of next week.

We thought it would be great to offer our forum goers the chance to put their questions to Garry. So this is YOUR chance!

Try to come up with original questions about Galactic battlegrounds and the Clone Campaigns X-Pack, any questions relating to other SW games, or to Episode II won't be looked at.

Those who get their questions answered will be given a nice little gift - so get your thinking caps on! Only ONE question per person please.

Please post your question on THIS thread ONLY.

Will the dominance of the Destroyer Droids be reconfiguered? Sometimes players will just gather a mob a DDs and they wipe out an entire base with one group. It seems a little unbalanced in the amount of power they have combined with the great defense they have.

@ _HaZeKniGhT-excellent question, remember in tpm how easily anakin's n1 vaped them?!

@ Gaber-

here's a better question than before. (i deleted it)

You said in the xpac thread that there would be 2 more units on each side. I'm guessing that 1 is the air cruiser. Could the other possibly be a guard unit? examples: Royal Guard for Empire, Red security droid for federation, Electropole guard for Gungan...

Has any significant enhancements/changes been made to the unit AI?

EX. Will units that are being attacked stop and return fire or just continue to get pounded on until they die or get to where they are going and then fire back?

The unique unit for the Republic is the Jedi Starfighter, so will they have attributes similar to the Jedi built from the temple?

eg. will they be able to convert units?

Hi Mr. Gaber, this is my question:

Among so many fan suggestions, critics, ideas, etc. (some which are supported by many fans, and don't make it to the game, and some others not very supported, but finally they get into the game), what is your criteria to say: "Well, we could put this into the game" or simply leave them behind and read the next one?

Okay - I'll post again :)

1. Units + their counters.

a. Artillery. I'm sure you've heard a ton about this. The problem is that there's no real good counter for them, and they're very easy to mass and can kill just about anything. I would like to know how you have fixed it.

b. The Counters. Mech Destroyers don't have a proper counter. MDs themselves kill them, but it's just a numbers or upgrades game, which is unfair. Arty blasts them, but again Arty doesn't have a good counter either. Grenadiers and Mounted Troopers should work, but they have too few DuraArmor, and cost nova. (Counter units should never cost nova!). Also, I think Mounted Trooper's upgrades cost too much. Mounties and Grenadiers should be more resistant to troopers (way too easy to mass). Hope you've fixed this!

c. Jedi. Again, these guys just aren't cost effective. Too much nova, and not enough DuraAmor to actually do anything. Troopers are just wayyy too cheap and work pretty well against Jedi. Bounties also don't cost nova, so they're easy to make.

2. Have you finished the death animations yet? You did so for the Galactic Empire's units, have you done them for the rest of the civs? I don't want a big crater when my TF AAT is dead. And have you made the Gungan workers and towers have boomers instead of blasters that they have now?

Ok, just want to point out that a mech army is just too strong. Continue to read MFO, they're very well experienced with the game!

Will you fix the Naboo fighter lasers so they will be green instead of red?

:naboo:===== This is how they were in TPM and should be in SWGB.

:naboo:===== This is not how they really are.

I'm pretty sure the reason for the colors of the lasers is because Fighters are considered Anti-Infantry units, hence the red lasers. A more valid question would be why do the Droid Starfighters (TF Fast Fighter) shoot only one laser at a time? In TPM they did two.

What will the team bonuses be for each civ?

TheMadDoofer there are only two new civs.

Rogue15 aren't the two new units a walking power core and the air cruiser.

Okay Mr Gaber, here is my question;

Considering the size of the Star Wars universe, why have you only included two extra civilisations in the expansion pack? When I read the news about the add on I was excited, but the news of only two more civs was highly disappointing, especially as this point has been stressed by fans on all the forums I have looked through. The inclusion of the Wookiee civ was an indication that you were able to create civs that weren't film based, and I think you could have had some real fun creating civs like Mon Cal, or a mercenary Hutt civ.

What are your thoughts on the subject? Would you liked to have put more diversity into the game if you didn't need to release the add on in conjunction with the film?

Dunno if I can add any weight to this, but I think this question deserves to go into the interview.
