Sontarian
Yeah I watched the movie and it was really good.Battles were incredible and fascinating and the movie is full of action, but you will see unblievable thing at the last 15 mins of the movie,i dont wanna say what happens and dont wanna ruin your film, but i think u guess, good job LUCAS really good job (except some sceens )
xSauronx
based on the previews and such that ive seen, i feel like the screenplay and alot of the acting will be REALLY bad, but that the action is gonna rule...you know, kind alike in Episode I. anyway, ill come back here tomorrow night after i see Ep2 when I get off work. oh, and heres to Darth Maul...the badass who got killed in a really lame way

d3vin
I thought acting and script were best parts of the movie. Anakin gave me chills..... and Obi-wans still youthful, optimistic outlook tempered by his need to discipline his padawan was great. I loved how just a few words were needed to convey what the characters were feeling. Dialogue was great. To see the middle parts of some characters evolution from the earlier episode to later episodes is great. It was a perfect fit. btw, i loved the use of the "light stance" in the movie
duff2k
acting was ok i think. many the scenes with anakin and padme were really bad. but the actor who played anakin (can't remeber his name) did well in playing the future dark jedi. his arrogance, his behaviour, etc. he managed that very well. incredible action, jarjar did shut the fsck up, the story was really much more epic than EP1. and yoda! waaah! in-****ing-credible! that was a star wars movie how it should be! access_flux
Rhett, you'll like it. i'm at school after getting home at 3:30am this morning, and i am the proudest mofo at school. the only thing that got me was Anakins cheesy lines. other wise natalie portman is a hottie that black leather dress amkes her look like a bondage queen. shhheeeessshhh.... what i found most amusing was either boba with his NZ accent, or mace windu and his hell action figure lines near the end. JaseP
Since I don't believe this movie is out yet until tomorow I believe, then you guys have seen it on the web from an illegal copy,... tsk, tsk tsk. You should be ashamed of yourself. This theft of a movie is why the CBDTPA - http://216.110.42.179/docs/cbdtpa/ - is being supported in congress. When you can't tape and watch Friends off the TV, and have to pay an extra $500 for a PC, I don't want to hear your hypocritical whining. You should buy and burn an extra set of tickets when the movie comes out!!! Theft from a corporation is still theft, and it puts people out of work. Jellybelly
Yeah...let's just say You'll see Yoda like You never saw him before. I think Hayden Christensen (Anakin) did a good acting job. His frustration is obvious and his dark sides show just enough. Action and massive battle scenes are great...nice work on the special effects. Story pretty nicely tied together, giving glimpses of what to come. Just enough romance to establish the relationship between the two lovers, but without taking up too much time. Jango Fett is cool, sure...but I must say that I think that Crisopher Lee rocks! He was great as count Dooku...very evil, yet with class like no other. A nice saga with dialouge, acting and story being along the lines of mythological drama - somewhat unatural and pretentious sure, but what else to expect from a classical tale of this kind? All in all I think it was a great movie. IMO better than Episode I, or at least of a more "grown up" style. Jellybelly
xSauronx
lessee, if the first guy is in germany, hes at least 6 hours ahead of US East Coast, maybe 7 (not sure on time zones over there in Europe) but that would make it EASILY thursday in germany, and im betting he probably saw the movie in a theatre. wait, i forgot, the whole world runs on US time...bah
Tyrion
Jess, you know that die-hard fans in Gernamy(Sp?) and Aisa can watch the movie since it's past 12:00 over there.I bet you live in the states, cause I live there in the west and it's only 7:21.Anyway, I wouldnt mind it if they saw a movie illegally, only if they bougt 7000 tickets, put then in pile, throw a burning match in, and jump.. Just a Joke.... Edit- wow, 3 posts all in the span of 2 minutes...
GidionTheDead
If you allow me to put it that way: The movie ****ing rocks! The love scenes were too long for my taste, but the couples (especially the younger ones) in the cinema liked them, so seems to be kind of a personal taste question. The acting of both was ok. (Like that Leia/Han thingy in RotJ. Nobody attacks that, because it is the ****ing-holy RotJ, but the love dialoges were as cheesy as the AotC ones.) The actions sequences... Whoaw! Nothing more needs to be said about that... beside: ~The PROs~ 1) Take that you dirty Jedi. Oh, no. What am I saying? (I nearly pissed myself.) 2) A favourite character in Jackie Chang attack pose. (Funny, but not as silly as I feared it to be. And I loved the moment he (completely innocent) took up the stick again. The cinema did a group-pissing that moment.) 3) Stormtroopers rock. No, wait.... That should be... Stormtroopers! Rocks! (Ah, that great Behind the Magic ) ~The CONs~ 1) They did split up the scenes for some unknown reasons. Ok, it is modern to do this (compare the old movies to Episode 1), but switching between the storylines and the locations with nearly every scene was too much. They should have grouped the Obi and the Amidala/Skywalker scenes together with 2-3 scenes each. (That would have removed some unnecessary stops from an otherwise fluid movie.) 2) Some people and places were introduced and explained (like Owen Lars and Beru), which were already obvious to die-hard fans and unnecessary for normal fans. ~Some other PROs~ 1) The Imperial March! 2) Dex! 3) Jar Jar did not spoil too much of the movie (although the german translation is still silly). 4) The Kaminosians were great. I fell in love for those eyes! 5) Stormtrooper orders! Get to the frontline, TK427! I will go home and rethink my life...

Elegy
It's about 8:00 over here right now, and none of these theaters are showing it until 12:01. I just got home with my tickets...the lady said there were only 4 left after I bought mine. 4 hours until it starts and a small group of people were already lined up off to the side sitting in lawn chairs and wielding lightsabers. I'll probably go claim my spot at about 10:00. This is gonna rule...

NerfYoda
Just saw the 12:01 showing in Dallas, TX. Good f*cking god what cool movie. The low point: the loveydovey scenes.. dialouge was a lil hokey. The pros.. EVERYTHING else! I have a HUGE newfound respect for Yoda. And Mace Windu don't take no mess! Yeehaw!

I said that regardless of what time in Germany he saw it, he could not have been back to his computer in 10 minutes after being at the theater. I also haven't seen him deny that it was an illegal copy he watched... I'm well aware of time differences. I have been to Europe. I have experienced jet lag.
