I voted from Grim Fandango.

JediOutcast was good... but the story wasn't very.... exciting. DarkForce2: JediKnight was better but even at that. Grim still beats it.

WHY?

ITS ORIGINAL! Its halarious! It has great graphics. I loved every moment of that game. Too bad the creator (Tim Schafer) isn't with LucasArts anymore :(

here's an example of its beautiful environment and graphics!

I haven't played all those games, but I would have to say JKII. You should start a poll for the worst Lucasarts game ever, which is Yoda stories by far. If you haven't heard of that game, consider yourself lucky.

I pick JK, simply because of the fast-paced multiplayer it gave.

But geezes, how the damn heck you forget the X-Wing series and TIE Fighter!?!? (X-Wing got me hooked on sims, and TIE Fighter was a worthy sequel to it!)

it was about a skeleton(Manny) who lives in the land of the dead, and his buisness was to sell tickets or what not to people who either lead a good life or a bad one. and they would have to travel to the (umm cant remember the name, like heaven or something like that). anyway so his co-worker domino would get all the good clients, so finaly he gets a client whos a femail and he basicly falls in love with her and goes on this 4 year quest to save her, and at the end he makes in to the world beyond.

3) Live-action cutscenes. Man, they had such a cool feel to them! I wish Jedi Outcast had those!

4) I can actually play the whole game on my computer. I got up to the Yavin Swamps and everything started going crazy. Not a good thing.

ya know besides the fact that i love Jedi Knight II's jedi simulation id have to agree that Jedi Knight had the better "Extras" i wish that JO had real cutscenes. those were the best. and the line up of Dark Jedi that Kyle had to fight, Lucas arts should REALLY remake Jedi Knight with JO gameplay but still keep everything the same. same way you had to chose between light and dark sides. same 5 people you had to fight. same realistic cut-scenes. but with the whole Jedi Simulation that JO had. and the graphics of JO. I know i sure as hell would by that(if they made it of course, witch is a VERY big longshot :ball: ). whos with me?

JO really shouldn't be on the list, since LEC didn't develop it.

I think JK is definatly better than JO overall. JK's SP kicks the crap out of JO's. I mean, you fight seven INDIVIDUAL Dark Jedi, not just clones. You fight a guy with two lightsabers, a guy with no legs that floats. You get to choose between the dark and light side. Also, it had Force Throw, which is by far, the best dark side power ever made (altough incredibly overpowered in JK). I'd trade dark rage for throw ANY day. Nothing like slamming 15 crates into your enemy's head, muwhaha. :p

I agree, it is a good game. The graphics though are kind of cheap, since the envirnments are mostly 2D! The game runs on the SITH engine, the same one as JK. There is NO way the JK engine could render that, hehe. Anyhow it still looks awesome.

It's a bit more complicated than that...

JO is a great game but hardly the best one listed, maybe it's just winning becasuse this thread is posted in the JO forum?

Grim Fandango does NOT use the JK engine. How can you possibly convert a FPS into an adventure game?

it uses the LUA engine (I think thats the name). In Escape from Monkey Island (which used the Grim Fandango engine) there was a bar named after the engine.

I LOVE Full Throttle ... I can't wait till Full Throttle 2 comes out, even though there's not much news about it yet...

yes the first one was a little short..but...

do you know what they could do with the game engines out now? ... and this kick ass storyline?

I have a good feeling Full Throttle 2 is gonna kick serious ass..... just like our good friend Ben ;)

it was good in most aspects

hmmm, I read earlier that Tim Schafer isn't with Lucas Arts anymoer? ...well, I hope they'll still make it great :D :D :D

No, Escape From Monkey Island uses the SCUMM engine (SCUMM Bar). AKA Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion. Grim Fandango used a different 3d engine.

EDIT -- OKAY I was wrong. In Escape From MI it does use the Grim Fandango engine, which is called GRIME. But the earlier games in the series used the SCUMM engine, hence the name of the bar ;)
