Darth Knight
How many of you are like really hardcore star wars fan. I mean the type of fans that go out like days early to the movies and drees up like jedis and stuff. Star Wars is cool but i don't like it that much. greedo626
I stood in line to see episode II for 5 hours, but I didn't dress up like a jedi or anything.
XERXES
ive never done that, never plan on it either. I mean, i love star wars, but not like that. I only have one Star Wars shirt actually, its the scene from return of the jedi with tie-fighters on the x-wings tail and the falcon all flying away from the death star. I have the RoTJ poster too thats real dark, and Vaders head is basically the entire poster, then near the bottom it shows Vader and Luke in a saber lock. Yoda_623
I stood in line for 5 hours too for episode 2, but I didn't dress up either. I think it was well worth the wait too.
obi
I'm always Obi-wan Kenobi for halloween, if that counts. I used to buy a fake beard and mustache to be Ben Kenobi, then EPI came out, then I put my hair in a pony tail and bought a fake long padawan braid. Now EPII is out, I have to buy the beard and mustache again!!!!!(Different color, of course:) )

Shadow Angel
Yes, I'm a hardcore SW fan. The only reason I don't collect many things or buy books is that I don't earn enough money to do so. At school, everyone knows I'm a SW fan. Thankfully, I don't get bashed for it, at least, hardly. I, however, don't wait in lines for SW tickets. I might, but where I live, there's no line to wait in. The theater was practically empty for Episode I, and this year, it was all about Spider-Man. At my school, hardly anyone saw AOTC, but EVERYBODY saw Spider-Man (on opening day, too.) Not that I don't like Spidey, he's my favorite comic book hero, and the movie was excellent, but I got kind of miffed that I couldn't talk about Episode II with anyone. My fandom mostly surrounds just knowledge, like knowing the names and origins of every extra character or item, some EU, although I don't buy the books, just read them at the store or library, the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series, several other SW games, and most of all, my obsession with Darth Sidious. I'm probably a worse case of obsession than Obi-Wan13 is with Obi-Wan. Let's see, I tend to recite many of his lines throughout the day, I watch ROTJ just for the Palpatine scenes, I have the throne room action figure set, I manage to put in a word about Sidious in a lot of my posts here, the list goes on. Yep. Another case of Star Wars fever. I try not to let it seep into my social life too much, though.

Darth Talliusc
im mildly obsessed, i never stood in line longer then 10 minutes, never dressed up, but i did buy over 110 of the EU books, and ive so far bought.... 14 lucasarts games and played them to death, and im working on a few more. never bought any sw clothing, but a few of the posters. WolfmanNCSU
I love star wars alot, but I waited a week to see ep 1 and 2. I never dress up like any of the characters or own a lot of stuff. I just like the movies and the stories and I really like the games. I have gone out and bought a comp game on the day of its release, but that is about it. I have gone to see several movies on their release dates or the upcoming weekend just after they release, but I dont camp for the tickets or wait longer than 30 mins by any means. The only time that I have camped for tickets is for college sports tickets like basketball and football. It mainly happens when we play rivals or top ranked teams. But hey, its college, its part of the experience.
Hanch Saode
Well....I too like SW REALLY MUCH!! But I don't have any dresses...or that kindda stuff....though a lot of toys, since I was kindda lonely kid playing by myself when I was smaller.... (I still play with SW toys though, just not when anyone sees it) I have a lot of patience, talking the movies in cinema's, thoug I really am looking forward to them, I have no problems in waiting a week or so, so the pressure is fallen abit.... But I'd say I'm a descent SW fan...descent??? Can I say that?? Can the word be used in this sentence?
Divine Spirit
Because im a Star Wars fan ive been labelled a geek by my friends. And they think im like the comic guy store guy from the Simpsons and then they accuse me of being the type of fan who dresses up as characters when i see the films at the cinema! Darklighter
No dressing up for me. I have the films, books, really old collectable figures worth loads. I consider myself a huge Star Wars fan, I'm the sort of guy who goes to the new film the day after it comes out so it won't be busy.....hehe:D lol
Darth Groovy
Well I am a HUGE Star Wars fan.....ever since I first saw it in 1980, that's right 1980....when the released retitled it "Chapter IV, "A New Hope". That was a few months before Empire Strikes Back, A movie that made a lasting impression on my life as a child and to this day. I have been Darth Maul every Halloween since 1999, that is to make up for the many years of High School when I didn't dress up because my droogies said it wasn't cool and I had to fit in. Now that I am in college I do pretty much whatever I want. I didn't stand in line for Episode II, but I did buy advance tickets and went to the late show that night. The only reason I didn't dress up is because my freinds begged me not too and my sister refused to do my make up. Anyone wants to know what my costume looks like just check out my Avatar here......that's me in full Maul drag! Also if anyone has a pair of Frank Thomas motorcycle boots at all similar to the "apollo gore" ones like Ray Park used in TPM, for sale drop me an e-mail at darthgroovyii@aol.com or pm me here! JaledDur
I'm a big fan. I drove 60 miles into Orlando to see EP2 on the digital screen there at Downtown Disney, and I had my tickets preordered I wouldnt go dress up as a Jedi unless like... there were a whole busload of us doing it. Even then i'd do it just to get a reaction. I might be inclined to wear a lightsaber with my everyday attire for the same reason, if I could afford a good one. lol
Kstar__2
I was at the premiere of star wars in the netherlands, and I had a jedi robe and a lightsaber (for doing so, i could see the premiere for free, YEAH!!) my walls are full with SW posters, and ! dont have enough space to put all my star wars "artifacts"(i got the book from the film back in 1977, its holy to me) so yes, i'm a hardcore SW fan. and yes, I Quote sw all day long!!
