Hi again!!!!! I don't see how you have come to think that i hate TMP beacuse of Jar Jar. I hated Jar Jar as I hate the batman/spiderman/Blade/fifth element not Jedi jump in AOTC... Ups forgot R2's rockets! BUT I LOVED AOTC!!! Yes it is cool finally to see how powerfull the Jedi really are, but enough is enough.

The coolest jump in the movie is Mace Windu escaping Jango's fire. And it is nothing compared to what Anakin and Obiwan did in the beginning.

Any more comments feel free :fett:

Enough is enough?!:dozey:hmmmm...

You have to understand that this was the time of the Jedi. They were the peacekeepers of the time. No one messed with them.

Thats why they were the republics police force. Im glad that Lucas is introducing moves that Jedi were capable of doing.

The old men and newb Luke of the original trilogy just were not good examples to display this.

I thought there wasnt enough Jedi scenes displaying just how great A Jedi knight can be. By all means give us more:)

I know they are at the top of the food chain, but they where that in Episode I, and they dide't jump out 2 mile high skyscrapers... Carbon freezers, escaping Jango fire and jumping out of air vents.

There are no real fans of the old movies left.... :deathstar:ewok::jawa:biggs::atat::band:

What you really have to say is. Am I a fan of the star wars saga?

You see SW is one big movie. Once ep.3 is complete there wont be any OT and NT. It will be only the SW epic.

If your a true fan you have to see it as a whole story. Not be confined to the OT.

Exactly, i LOVE every single star wars movie. They are the greatest pieces of film ever created, and i love them....but to say there are no fans of the OT is just plain silly. There are many many people who HATE the prequels, and only care about the OT. (nearly every single film critic alive)

And in episode 1, we only saw two jedi in action.....so we didn't even get that big of a feel for just how tough they were....i mean, we saw the duel of the fates, which was AWESOME....but we see in episode 2 that Jedi aren't afraid of anything, willing to leap out of a window 1,000 stories up to grab a droid.....if he missed it he's almost 100% guranteed to die....but he didn't even hesitate!

Original concept?

This was the original concept. George Lucas just decited to start in the middle of his big story with ep.4.

I do love the OT. I wouldnt love SW if it wasnt for ANH. But some people cant seem to accept any other SW movie that wasnt done in the 70's or 80's.

I have said this plenty of times before but here it goes again:

The NT is exactly how GL wanted SW to look and be presented to the audiance. Witht he OT he had many restrictions, but he still managed to make them great films as well.

Well we all cant think the same. Im just a fan of the SW epic as a whole.:)

The escaping from carbon freezers was from ESB.....and that was Luke, a poorly trained, not too good jedi against the most powerful jedi ever......and jumping out of air vents was in episode 1...so i'm really not sure exactly where you're going with that post.....

You don't have to like EU.

I am the biggest fan I know and I HATE EU. Admittedly, I haven't read any stuff after Episode I was released, but after I read the Jedi Academy Trilogy I thought "God damn this is the worst thing I have ever read. How can such stuff be allowed to pollute the amazing Star Wars Universe?"

I have enjoyed several EU books though, but it is nothing compared to the movies. To consider EU a part of the movies degrades the Star Wars Universe in my eyes.

So much stuff written in between Return of the Jedi and The Phantom Menace is utterly ridiculous now. For example, Dark Jedi... they don't exist. They are called Sith Lords, and they are not evil Jedi with "Dark Lord of the Sith" being the name of their singular leader.

So that's how big a Star Wars fan I am. Nothing can compare to the amazing Star Wars movies, especially not sub-standard EU. I believe passionately in this and there is nothing anyone can say that will pursuade me otherwise.

Yeah....it's not like the movies ever say that if you're not a jedi you're a sith. Because there can only be two sith at any given time, as stated in the rule of two. So if there are two sith, (palpatine and Dooku) Then what would happen if one of the Jedi, (for example, Aayla Secura) Fell to the dark side of the force and started killing random innocent people. She cannot be a sith, but she's not a jedi.....

And that aayla secura reference was just for reference sake...please don't shoot me or choke me or upload into me and then cause me to kill myself Agent Smith.........;)

To begin with I am a huge Star Wars fan. I'm wondering if any of you have ever left a job for Star Wars? When Ep: II came out I worked that day when I gave them two weeks notice so I quit the day before it came out. I love Star Wars and anything that has anything to do with it. I voted seen All movies and some Eu but I wish you would have put All movies Ot books and Some Eu. I see Eu as being able to read stuff that wasn't coverd in the movies. Like what are you guy's going to do when Lucas Finally finishes with the Movies? I'm not going to stick to one part and thats it! I'm going to be an old man and still be reading Eu. To me I take Eu as fact unless it contradict's Cannon. Like I know there are people out there that would love to see movies Just about Aayla Secura Like Agent Smith or about Ko Ploon like E.T. Warrior. We love to see stuff like that but it wont happen. I see Eu as being able to see stuff we wouldn't know. Oh when I'm talking about I quit my job I'm not a Corprate Executive I just made burgers. lol So to me Star Wars is a part of my life. Like have you guys ever here about when ESB and ROTJ came out, fans of the original ANH disliked it but they finally grew to like it and accept it just like they will with Ep: I & II.

All I want to say is can't we just get along in this universe?:)

So Peace, Love, and Chicken Grease!

I've seen all of the movies countless times, read some of the books about the movies, and have played or owned at one time or another most of the games.

Never have read any of the EU though. Is the story of Anakin Solo EU or is that NJO???? Hard for me to figure out what is what.....

Are there any book reccomendations out there from you guys???

Thanks for the info ET Warrior....I'll have to look up those books. :D
