Old_Ben Posted July 29, 2002 Share Posted July 29, 2002 I'm gonna go with Yoda, because Anakin got his arm cut off by Dooku and Yoda even though he is like four feet shorter was able to match him. Plus Vader in the OT always took such slow swings at Luke while Yoda's always all over the place. He'd beat Anakin before he even knew Yoda was there. I think Anakin's defeat by Dooku can be paralleled to Luke's defeat by Vader in Episode V. They both rushed ahead against their master's warning and were dismembered in the encounter. Anakin will probably go back and defeat Dooku in the next movie. Because of this, I think Anakin would be able to defeat Yoda if he fought him then (when he embraces the dark side). Force Powers are a way game designers bind the Force to your keyboard. Using the Force for destruction is the dark side, using it for defense and protecting is the lightside. Choking someone or zapping someone with the Force is considered dark side Force. Now, I know what you're going to say. "Then why did Luke choke the Gammoreon gaurds in RotJ??" The RotJ novel states that he tapped into the dark side and choked the gaurds. Light Jedi tapping into the dark side of the Force on occasion is quite common, but too much of it makes you become like Anakin ---> Vader. I have said this before, and I say it again: Yoda didn't have to face just Vader, but the emperor and 5 million stormtroopers too. Yoda was a Jedi Master for almost a millenium, and after all we know Anakin never was a Jedi. And Vader is also quite crippeled by his suit.
