In Denmark we have 3 more grades than in your grade-system, I guess that's what's confusing me here..... And all your damn foreign terms: GSCE!!! WTF! OMG! teh mad!

general certificate of secondary education

 

A-levels

 

Advanced Level

 

O -levels .... ordinary levels (old GCSE's)

 

S-levels Super Levels (dunno what the s really stands for)

 

AEA .... advanced extention award (new S-levels)

 

AS- levels .... Advanced subsidary level .... half and a-level

 

whats to confusing

 

O - level

 

A - level

 

S -level

 

replaced by

 

GCSE

 

As and A-level

 

AEA ...

 

its soooo simple

 

and the grades go from A - E then U for failure and N for borderline

 

except GCSE's where it goes from A* - G ...... and again U for failure ... but no n

 

but only A* - C's really count

 

SEEEEEEEE .... its simple :D

Nice explantion of the contractions(sp?), but I think I lost the meaning of those thingies somewhere......

 

I still think your grade system is way off, but you'd probably laugh ya a** off if you ever saw the danish one.... Everyone seems to be able to get A's, is it that easy?

some say its been dumbed down so more people get a - c's but .... some dont ... dunno

 

i found GCSE's easy as pie .... but didnt do as well as i couldve if id worked

 

A-levels are not so easy ...... but still passable

 

equally the people on this board are more likely to get A's cos we all nerds

GCSEs are a lot easier than A-levels, but at a lot of schools (like mine) you get people failing everything cos they can't be bothered to work...I had the worst teacher for Maths, and had to teach myself quadratics...I got an A, but it's only cos I worked hard...it's all done to how much work you put in and determination...

 

 

I still want to know what Divine got:Dlol...where are ya m8?

oh yeah, i got 5 As and 5 Bs...got predicrtd C in english languahge but got an A! suck on that oerry macen!! hehehe im not too pleased iwth my reults i woud have liekd to hav e got a A* but u cant have everything....no no ucant but im gonna be a rock star and be rick and famous and i wont give a shut s o teheere!

 

i think that my joke at start was funny i fought many hting s were funny tonight- someone spilt sdrink onn the floor trying to giv me a handshakeand then askedifi was drunk! me??? th thirteenth duke of wimbrem, drunk here???
