I say after 90 days if the padawan in question does not post or make any attempt to contact his master, he be dropped from the program. I had this problem with Manipulation! All these people volunteered. Now out of a staff of 6 I have one left. There are alot of flakes around here like that and they should be dealt with accordingly.

90 days, or out you go. That's my proposal. I don't think that is unreasonable.

I remember when the Academy was thriving, very few teachers, and everyone had a padawan. Even some people who wanted to be a padawan, but couldn't because there were no teachers....

My how the tables have turned:D

can you explain why no1 want to be a padawan any more?

As for why no one wants to be a padawan, I don't really know. Maybe because all the good jobs at the academy are taken, or maybe people just don't want to:o

When Dissectional started up Ice Squadron, our ranks doubled in about 3 hours. Then when the Academy Wars began, even more people joined. What is needed, is a reason for people to join the Academy.

I joined long ago because I liked the idea, a smaller community within a community. A group of regular swampies, banded together, to create something greater than any of us could make alone.

Since I joined, I've made new friends, explored what has been called by others as "Amazing writing talent", learned that JK2 MP can be quite fun with friends, and have become a part of something that is greater than the sum of it's numbers.

This is exactly why I can't tell you why people don't want to join, but I can sure as hell tell you why people do:)
