C'jais
The part about Ki-adi and Plo Koon was never done guys, they had it in mind, filmed it - but never did any post production to it. And in ep2, post production is everything, it's basically the whole movie
Kurgan
Well, technically, the deleted scenes on the Episode I dvd were also filmed, but didn't have post production done on 'em. That was the whole point.... blow some serious dough to "finish" them with special effects for the home edition. We all were assuming that they were going to do the same thing for Episode II dvd. I guess it was just too much to ask so soon (remember that TPM took over two years to get to DVD, but then again, supposedly George wasn't going to release ANY SW dvds until Episode III was finished, heh). I too would much rather see the new action scenes than more plot exposition with the "romance" between Anakin and Amidala (I'm sure Titanic fans would rather the latter). Yeah, I'd much rather see the actions scenes as well. Which reminds me, I forget if it was TF.net or SW.com but one of 'em got it really wrong. They quoted a guy as saying (a person who reviewed a "leaked" copy of the AOTC dvd) that the scenes with Yoda tossing Dooku's lighting back at him were added (in reality, those were in the theatrical release as well). Apologies if I can't remember who it was... ; p

Jedi_Monk
I just hope that if these scenes aren't on the DVD, then the reason is that they want to save something so that fans will buy the DVD again when it's rereleased along with the OT
