ForceElf
I was watching the lord of the rings yesterday and rembered that the guy who plays Elrond played Agent Smith in the Matrix. At the part where Frodo wakes up. I was half asleep and thought Elrond said Welcome to Rivendale, Mr. Anderson.

Hekx
I noticed that when watching LOTR. I kept thinking; "Frodo, watch out! It's an agent!" I kept waiting for the battle music and the flying acrobatics to kick in...

Reb Starblazer
Yea, when I first saw the movie I kept thinking about how familiar Elrond looked, but I couldn't place him. But when he said "The Ring must be destroyed!", it reminded me of in the Matrix when Agent Smith said "Find them and destroy them!". So it instantly clicked as to where I remembered him from:D

Reb Starblazer
Yep, Boromir was played by Sean Bean, who also played Alec Trevelayn in Goldeneye. Gandalf is played by Sir Ian McKellen, the guy who played Magneto in X-Men. He also played the former Nazi in "Apt Pupil", an amazing movie. Saruman was played by Christopher Lee, made famous by his portrayal of Dracula, and he's also Count Dooku in Attack of The Clones. Gimli is played by John Rhys-Davies, Sallah from the Indiana Jones movies. Sam Gamgee is played by Sean Astin, the guy who played Rudy in the movie of the same name. He's also the voice of Hercules in "Kingdom Hearts".
