Replayability

This has thouroghly covered in the Bioware forum, so I'm bringing here, so as not to be flamed. :evanpiel:

What do you think will happen when you "finish" the game? Will there be side quests? Will you be able to go back and explore, socialize, etc etc....

I'm not really asking, I'm just looking for discussion. Please share your thoughts.

It'd be fun for a little while, particularly if there are easter eggs to be found. But if there is no more character interaction, no more enemies (because they're dead) and no more quests it would get boring very quickly. Replayability will come from replaying the game to get all the side-quests and maybe the a few clever modders.

I probley won't go back and play through it again, I'm sure that one time through will be enough for me. I mean it took me about 4 to 5 weeks to beat Jedi Outcast, and I'm not doing it again, but it was worth it.

If they have multi-player options or tons of side quests then I may play it a second time, just maybe ...

I agree!! Unlock some of the various force powers like mind tricks, etc......

Mindtricks better not be an easter egg. Mindtricks should be a standard jedi power not a special unlockable power. A good easter egg would be becoming as powerful as the chosen one.

I think I'll play through the game again once I finish probably a few months after. I always play through games again. Just don't play it for a long time until your memory of each detail disapears and its a whole new game sought of.

At least in this game you can choose to be a different occupation and have different party members (I think) and possibly be able to choose between being a sith or a jedi. However, I guess the story stays the same either way.

I was talkin' about special force powers.....ones we haven't seen before in any SW game. They talk about having over 50 (or something) force powers, so I think it would make a better game to have to earn certain force powers rather than just start out the game with all of them (like Obi-Wan, and we know how that game turned out).
