access_flux
hey there. everyone, i thought i would make an online journal thingy so that more people can hear about what i have been up to,and that people can hear about all my stupid antics, seen as there is always a lot of them, and Australian echange students are pretty popular so i have figured. ok where to start...... i am on exchange for a year (10 months actually) in germany, in a small town/city called Darmstadt. i'm from Australia and the legal drinking age is 18 there, where here it's 16. hahahahhahahahah. well i had a bit of a rocky start as some of you will remember, and you guys are my psychiatrists aren't you anyway. i was with a family for 2 and a half months. things were pretty rocky there, and we didn't get along ( me and my host dad) so after a long and bitter and twisted few weeks of waiting for my host parents to decide if i was going to leave, i packed up my stuff and left. i stayed with an Exchange organiser for a week, where my 14 year old host brother would set fireworks off in my room to wake me up at 6 am in the morning. i had a good time there, just chilling and playing a lot of video games and watching a lot of MTV. from there i moved to another temporary family, where my 18 year old brother by the school week, and a crazy alcoholic by the weekend. it was with him i made a 4 hour walk home from a party around the city instead of through it, and walked home for an hour from a nightclub with no pants on and talking to girls walking past in scottish accents. that was one of the most wacked out weeks i have ever had, because also on the same weekend as the minus pants expedition, i had a gathering with two other australians where we went through two 6 packs and two rather large bottle of vodka in about 4 hours. that was the most hardcore drunk night i have had in a long time. from there i moved into a permanent family, with a mate from school, who is a hardcore metal guy, and has fat flesh tunnels through his ears. i got my first piercing here in germany, when i told my mum at home, she went nuts, and made me promise i wouldn't get anymore piercings here in germany. i asked what about tattoos? and she said don't you dare get a tattoo unless i am there, and i will pay for it...... i was like huh? so i am getting a tat later next year when my mum visits me. ok recent news. Friday my 4 year old sister called me up from Australia, and that was so cool, i had to sing christmas songs on the phone to her while my host brother laughed at me. the weekend was as ok, on friday i went to the middle of the city, and got drunk, (you can drink on the streets here!) so that was cool, then we ( me and my host brother) went and chilled at a mates, where he sat yakking out the three story house's top window, which was rather amusing. saturday i chilled and we played PS2 and then went to the pub, then onto a gathering. the story of the gathering is here, so that was a good night, seen as i have a slight crush on one of them (shush, be quiet all of you) then yesterday i managed to do some majpr damage to my foot in school sport, where i think i broke my big toe. anyway seen as i didn't have a lot of time atm i think that schould do for today. i will be posting more in the next few days, so watch more more updates in Flux's online exchange Journal. later guys, -+>Josh. access_flux
g'day fellers, i thought i would write a bit more today. the weekend i had did show a lot about german culture. i found that if you accidentally bump a girl in the side of the leg in a pub, that seems to give her the right to smack you in the groin. and seen as she was a girl who has been giving me vibes for the last couple of weeks, that was absolutely fantastic. one of the best things i have found here in germany has got to be waterpipes with flavoured tobacco. i went to a gathering on saturday night, and we went nuts with the Shiska (water pipe) and it was great. the worst thing i have found is that school starts at 7:40am in the morning, which means getting up at 6 am EVERYDAY. and for someone who is used to getting up at 8am for school at 9am, it is really killing me. i am actually in a free class at the moment, with me losing my host brother and not knowing who the teacher is, or where the class room is, and not many people speaking enough english, i just go an sit on the computer all lesson. school finishes this week for the semester, so i am looking forward to sleep ins, drunk nights and all the girls ( hot hot girls ) coming up to me in clubs and asking me about australia. later doods, -+>Josh. mima kake
Well nice you have a good time now m8t. I liked your reading. Hope you enjoy europe a little. Are you planning to go to other country's ass well. I've been in aussie land 5 years ago for 3 months. And I had a great time in your country. I went from perth to melbourn visiting relatives. And I love the wild life over there. It was realy amazing waking up and seeing kangeroo's and wombats and beautifull bird (parrots) outside the window. Have heaps of fun and enjoy your stay Greetz MIMA

access_flux
i still haven't seen snow.... it hasn't snowed here yet, and its really frustrating me. because i haven't seen snow, and all the germans are like 'what? never seen snow?!' hmm.... i have decided to stop drinking..... for this week. the last two nights (school nights, at that) i have got rather drunk, and i can't live like this anymore. at least not till schools over... i almost threw up in the car coming home last night, and all my host parents could do was laugh at me. at least drinking takes away my depression about how tight assed german girls are ( i've been here almost 4 months, and haven't pulled once yet, which is a rather large drought compared to home) my advice to all you kids, is that if you decide to drink on a school night, do not take energy tablets the morning after. i was sitting there this morning hung over like all F%&K, and i got handed to energy tablets. took them, and i was like yeah got to move, but if i move i'll throw up... so don't drink on school nights. later all, -+>Josh.
