obi Posted January 4, 2003 Posted January 4, 2003 Looks pretty good. Only question I have is, Who is the dude in the background? I know it's the guy from the JO manual, but who is he? I've always wondered that.....
Kstar__2 Posted January 4, 2003 Author Posted January 4, 2003 i guess it's supposed to be some über kyle figure:confused:
Clemme w/Stick Posted January 4, 2003 Posted January 4, 2003 I just had an idea for the logo... How about making another one that is similar to that one, and instead of the über kyle thingy you put in the JK2 logo? you know this one? http://www.lucasarts.com/products/outcast/images/downloads/screensavers/symbol.jpg[/img] -Clemme
Kstar__2 Posted January 4, 2003 Author Posted January 4, 2003 well, i can't find one with only the logo, and not the lightsaber behind it:( , i already tried to find such thing ,but i couln't find it
Clemme w/Stick Posted January 4, 2003 Posted January 4, 2003 thats ok. Well, so is the current logo the one we're gonna stick with?? -Clemme

The battery stickers need to come off of those saber hilts. Those saber hilt's are actually photos of the Luke Skywalker Lightsaber TV remote that came out back in the late 90s. I only know this because I have one. A little bit of alcohol took that sticker right off of there. A little bit of photoshop will help your situation, and also see if you can smudge the buttons off a little bit better. The guy in the backround looks neat but he probably won't show up from a distance, so you may want to take him out. Other than that looks fine to me!
Kstar__2 Posted January 5, 2003 Author Posted January 5, 2003 lol, didn't know it was a tv remote! i guess the edges look a little bad, but it's the best i can do right now, however, i can look for other hilts, and maybe we could add a JKII hilt, but i will need pictures for that. the guy in the background looks good IMHO, it isn't only for seeing it from far, but also for on a website, so.
Darth Groovy Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Here is a close up: These look pretty good:
Kstar__2 Posted January 6, 2003 Author Posted January 6, 2003 logo with better sabers, and shadow so make it more eye-catching.
Darth Groovy Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 I really love this logo: Can you do something like that? These too look cool also: This is nice too, I like the Pyramid idea, it's a good symbol of unity
Kstar__2 Posted January 6, 2003 Author Posted January 6, 2003 groovy, the logo is done, once msn is back oline i'll send it to you so that we can discuss about it:D
Kstar__2 Posted January 16, 2003 Author Posted January 16, 2003 well, with all the good commentaries, i made a couple of new logo's, here is the link: http://home.hccnet.nl/r.valkhof/lfja/ groovy, obi, leXX, and the rest, see you on msn to discuss it!
Darth Groovy Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 No need to discuss it my friend, Obi and I and some others have agreed on it. You have done a fantastic job with it! There was two requests to move the saber more to the middle, but I like it off side better. Now all I need is the LFJA slogan on the back and some text for the right sleeve. I'm working on the shirt now. Here is a preview:
Dath Maximus Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 looks, good. also on another note, just wanted to say, sorry ive been gone and i will be absent for a few more days.
Kstar__2 Posted January 17, 2003 Author Posted January 17, 2003 lightsaber shouldn't be in the middle. and you didn't choose one of my funky ones:( they weren't really finished though, i needed some tips on the bg and stuff. if you want i can touch it up.
Darth Groovy Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 Which one did you have in mind? I think the logo looks fine the way it is.
Kstar__2 Posted January 18, 2003 Author Posted January 18, 2003 it needs some tuning IMHO, i'll see what i can do:D
Darth Groovy Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 Stay with the original design though. In other words, don't change any of the images. I like all the images you used, and they look fine they way you got them there. If you want to touch up the pyramid, or the text, or shading, color and stuff like that is fine.
