Hekx
I can't even open a door let alone hack a computer 1. Has your son asked you to change ISPs? I have said about changing ISPs since my currrent ISP goes down more than an elevator. 2. Are you finding programs on your computer that you don't remember installing? Yes, who's the sicko who installed Teletubbies Fun Print Center!? 3. Has your child asked for new hardware? Where's my new video card!? 4. Does your child read hacking manuals? I don't even read books. 5. How much time does your child spend using the computer each day? As if I go to sleep 6. Does your son use Quake? I've played Quake a while ago, but I don't own it. I've played QII and Q3A though 7. Is your son becoming argumentative and surly in his social behaviour? WHAT DO YOU MEAN ARGUMENTATIVE!? 8. Is your son obsessed with "Lunix"? Linux? Lunix sounds like a Lion / Zebra hybrid :\ 9. Has your son radically changed his appearance? No, I still wear the same shoes I wore 6 years ago. 10. Is your son struggling academically? 1 + 2 = 4 That's the best thing I've read all year
Eagle_e7
I saw this a little while ago, Absolutely hilarious:D But surely its fake? If your son has requested a new "processor" from a company called "AMD", this is genuine cause for alarm. AMD is a third-world based company who make inferior, "knock-off" copies of American processor chips. They use child labor extensively in their third world sweatshops, and they deliberately disable the security features that American processor makers, such as Intel, use to prevent hacking Does your son use Quake? Quake is an online virtual reality used by hackers. It is a popular meeting place and training ground, where they discuss hacking and train in the use of various firearms. C'jais
Utterly pathetic. Those parents have apparently never heard of the word "empathy" before. I could say with fair certainty that they're very, very mentally sick. You know Shock, as fun as those sites are, maybe you should stop -- people might be getting some good fodder for them anti-American threads here.... Keep 'em coming! Kstar__2
this part i hate most, when are people going to learn the difference between a hacker, a cracker and a scriptkiddie:mad: it really bothers me, because they all end up called hacker, while the only people that don't want to do bad stuff to others, are hackers! well, other than that, it was funny as hell reading that:D i like to talk possitive about hackers (not crackers!) see my sig;)
ShockV1.89
Actually, the only one I really scratched my head over was the difference between a hacker and a cracker. I have a vague notion, but not terribly clear... Care to enlighten?

griff38
Sounds like a classic case of paranoia brought on by a lack of knowledge. Sure feel sorry for the poor kids in that house.
SettingShadow
Oh and i just think this one is s funny: Originally posted by an idiot My children have never failed to make me proud, and I can say without the slightest embellishment that I have the finest family in the USA. Riiiiiiiight, course you do. I pitty your kids, I mean, how old were they when they first used a computer? 13 - 17? I mean seriously, if your gonna be so damn over concerned about your kids of course theyre gonna make stuff just becasue theyre sick of you. And that advise just to let them play 45 minutes is just ridicolous.
