I just got a used voodoo3 card from a friend. All I have is the card and the cd thing that came with it. The cd will not work so I can't instal the driver, but that doesn't seem to matter because my computer says its already instaled. so, I tryed to play jedi outcast and it sayed something like "couldn't open openGL". I went to the voodoo web site and downloaded a driver for windows XP and now jedi outcast will not even open. Did anyone else have this problem that might be able to help me out? PLEASE!!!

well, let me start by saying that ATi does not even come close to Nvidia....just bcuz they have the Radeon 9700 doesn't mean a thing...soon Nvidia is going to unleash their monster of a videocard and stomp ATi. Now, about the card you should get...

Ha! ATI will be just as good and there video cards are cheaper and there's less models unlike Nvidia. As for FX, it may dominate Radeon 9700, but how long do you think it'll last... Huh? :p
