Notion Posted January 26, 2003 Posted January 26, 2003 Well I beat Splinter Cell, GOTY IMO. And can you believe it, I actually didn't CARE that Sam's goggles where invisible to baddies. Better than Metroid's FPA gameplay. The last level is the best by miles.

Aerothorn Posted January 28, 2003 Posted January 28, 2003 OXM is the most horrible magazine I've ever read. They are good writers but their talent is wasted by their horrible attitude. Most of the team worked at PC Accelerator, but it didn't sell well do they did Daily Radar, then this, and now they act like they never liked PCs. They say the only good games are on Xbox. They're so insanely biased you can't trust most of the stuff they say, and then they claim they are unbiased. I can write better then they can.

As for the demos, thats fine, though personally I won't pay $25 or whatever for something that I feel should be free....and if I get the magazine I feel obligated to read it. Too bad you can't get just the disk. My fav magazine used to be PC Gamer, but since they're in the same building as OXM and those other console magazines and have to deal with their anti PC stuff every day, they have (Immaturely) decided to respond in turn by acting like a bunch of PC fanboys and talking about how much consoles suck(Despite the fact that I've seen in OXM the PC Gamer editors give great reviews of console games....hypocrits). I suppose if "Newspaper" counts as magazine my fav is The Onion.
