BCanr2d2
Well, to slighlty flaunt the rules - A Home Entertainment Solution... I hope that is US$ as well!! If that is the case, with that said HES, I would get the $25,000 cinema quality DLP digital projector, and then I'd invite all the Swampies over to watch any DVD they wanted to, or play XBOX on said "Super Freaking Large" projected screen.. The other $75,000 would include one THX quality 7.1 upgradable Receiver, and some great speakers. Since it a Solution, there is bound to be some money to build something to house this, one room, seats for all (at least those that I like...) Swampies. I am sure someone else could chuck in their $100,000 for a constant supply of alcohol.....

WolfmanNCSU
From the infamous words of Office Space "two chicks at the same time" No, seriously, I would get me a new phat ride. Not sure exactcally yet, I am looking at getting a '03 4Runner this may, but I guess I would go bigger and better if I had that much cheese to spend. BCanr2d2
Not really, you would be buying a DVD Collection, which is one thing!!! Just like my Home Theatre solution, it technically is many things, but use the right word as your one thing, and you can have a lot of things........!! Andy867
True, I could say that I would buy the Ultimate DVD collection, which is many things in one, but yet, It is one thing:D Good Call!
Pnut_Man
Hmm, 100 grand... BCanr2d2
Only ONE thing, not a list - some of us have given things like DVD collection, or home theatre solution, as our one thing, to get around the one thing limit........
Andy867
Would it be possible to say something along the lines of the one thing want is on a list, therefore since one thing was described indirectly, you could literally get everything on the list that is within the $100K limit
Eldritch
Bunch of lawyers in here, eh? "I want everything that is on this ONE list." I don't see a reason why you couldn't do that... it's good that this is inspiring people to be creative and think up solutions. Much better than the normal, "What would you buy if you had a zillion, kablillion dollars?" thread.
BCanr2d2
To me, it doesn't matter if you call it "One Mixed Jumble of Stuff" that would qualify as one of something!!! It just seems a lot easier to go along the line of using a theme, and then making sure that it includes what you want...
