Brodin
Well when did it come out? I didn't really start into gaming till about 2 years ago. And have gone far since then . Im only 14 so i may have been a bit young to have heard of it
RicardoLuigi...
the first mi came out in '90, so you should've been about 1 when came out. i was 0. mi2 came out in '91, i think. mi3 came out '97 or '98, can't remember. mi4 came out in '00 or '01. i know about it cause of my grandpa, who got me started on them to begin with, plus other ones like loom and dig. but mi is by far the best game ever, along with the metroid series. Brodin
That would explain why I've never heard of it. *notices Al-back from the BigWhoop with a torch in his hand* *backs away slowly....*

Captain Xero
Surely it wouldn't be too difficult to put MI1 and 2 on a GBA cartridge?

Gabez
I want to see something like The LucasArts Entertainment Pack - all four games in nice DVD cases, with a piratey outer box holding them all together. And of course the first two games would work fine in Windows XP. I'd buy it anyway.
Joshi
i wouldn't, i already have all 4 of them, mi1 works fine with XP, mi2 works without the sound (with sound with LEC Q&E and SCUMM VM) and mi3 and 4 work on xp as well (even the old version of cmi, i mean there's probably no difference, but i recently saw cmi and efmi in DVD cases and i thought they both probably work well on XP, never mind). so i wouldn't buy a multipack just for the hell of it if i already have afull working versions of the game (although saying that, i did buy the LEC entertainment pack, but that's because my original sam n max wouldn't work on xp, and neither would full throttle or the dig, so i bought it even though i had gf which worked fine. so anyway, anyone wanna buy a slightly used grim fandango, or the dig or full throttle ?) Gabez
Pfft, I already have all four too, I'd just like to have them all in DVD cases held together by some flashy box. Like a collectors edition if you like.
Al-back from the BigWhoop
i kinda liked the GBA idea, probably because i wouldnt want to spend my money buying all 4 in a collector's edtion, since i already have all 4 ps, my MI1 works on XP, but without sound. the rest works just fine
jannar85
They should stay in the condition they are now. I wouldn't buy a MI1 Remake, because LEC screwed up once, and might just do it again... Isn't there a ScummVM version for GBA?
ThunderPeel2001
I would buy a remake and I'd also like to see a fan remake (it would be incredibly easy to do) because no matter what happened, I'd still have the old version if I didn't like the new one -- so there's nothing to lose!! ~ Johnny
Joshi
true, nothing to lose... apart from the money you spent to buy it with, but if they every did do it and it bombed, iot would be a collectors item a few years after so hey, what the hell. Guybrush_Dincht
but if they did make a remake an it was rubbish then no-one would buy futre games. it might really affect the sales!
Lost Welshman
Maybe they could make a computer in the new Monkey Island game where you play the first game but its all re-vamped? Cool maybe? Or maybe in the new Full Throttle or Sam and Max game because Computers aren't associated with pirates. Hell, they didn't know what the internet was.
