Burrie
Here's a picture of the Cathar as shown in the Tales of the Jedi comic books... Ah, I understand what you mean, Swat. To be honest, I can't really see enough of her there to make a good judgement about it. EDIT : Ah, I saw a few different pictures from her... no, I definatley think she is not a Cathar. Hannibal
I was thinking more about this. Maybe that is just Bioware's version of the species. There's a new screen shot with her in it.
Burrie
Mmm, I understand what you mean, Hannibal... the Cathar's appearance already got a mayor revamp in the final arc of the Tales of the Jedi. They went from having a lion appearance to a more cat-like form... still, if that's the Cathar of the story, I have to say that I'd be a bit dissapointed, unless, of course, they show the ferocity that the Cathar showed in the TotJ tale. Darklighter
http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2002/vgnews/092302/starwarskotor/swkotor_screen002.jpg The effects look amazing, so much more impressive than JKII. The game looks pretty vast as well, a good variety of different environments and characters. The lightsaber battles look mighty impressive too ^^ It's gonna be awesome. Com Raven
Not suprising if you think about the fact that JK IIs engine was more or less 3 years old at it's release, which itself was a year ago...
Hannibal
When are they gonna stop using the QuakeIII engine? That thing is used more than Jennifer Lopez' wedding license. :zing:
Taos
@ Han I hope they stop using that engine soon.....it's had its time. They should have something new sometime.....*hopes*
leXX
Havn't you lot heard the saying... If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I say thank God for the Quake 3 engine, it changed the face of gaming. It's not getting old to me. I have a feeling the GeoMod will be the next big thing, I hope Red Faction 2 lives up to my expectations.
