Thimble Keegan
I am looking to buy Rogue Squadron for the N64 and I was wondering if there was a training level. Cheers, Kev

Taos
I think I'm more suprised about the fact that you're 'looking to buy it.' I really can't remember the last time I played RS.

Redwing
Don't listen to them Thimble - RS is still a fine game, just lacking graphics wise The training level is basically the lovely pointless first level. There isn't a true training level like in Rogue Leader.
Lynk Former
Listen Thimble, listen to me, the guy with the really nice signiture image, not Red... he's just a nog If you're going to get a game console wise, get Rogue Leader, Rogue Squadron is too old, Rogue Leader has everything you want in Rogue Squadron and MORE! Thimble Keegan
The reason I am buying Roque Squadron is because I managed to pick up a cheap N64 (£18) so I have decided to get the game. Thimble Keegan
swphreak
uhh, well, I don't know how much that is in dollars but if you paid more than like 6 to 7 dollars... you got ripped off
Rogue15
n64 has alot of cool games on it.....get Turok-Turok 3. those are nice FPS' for that console. also get DK64, SSB, SOTE, RS, Racer, SF64, and there's alot of other 'good' games too. =] I still have my Rogue Squadron for N64, tho i haven't played it in over a year. Lujayne
Hey, what's with all the Rogue Squadron bashing? O_o It is a great game! I say get it, Mr Keegan. Nah, there isn't any training levels, which is sad, but it's still a good game. Of course, my favourite game is still the original, first, and number one, the 1993 "Star Wars, X-Wing"! And talk about training missions! First there's the Pilot Proving Grounds, a maze/obstacle course for you get the feel of flying different types of fighters, and then there's the numerous sim missions you can fly, plaus all the actual missions - I'm not even sure how many there are altogether, but it seems like hundreds. My one claim to fame with this game: I never advanced very far, cuz I usually stuck to the sims instead of the actual missions, but I finally got promoted to Lt. and got a really pretty medal for something, and Mon Mothma winked at me, but one day I got bored and decided to kamikaze and take out all my squad mates too... -_- Don't do that. I was demoted back to cadet and my medal was gone. ;___; And I've never been able to get them back! Waaa! It's true.
