Boba Rhett
The video information is being sent to the screen in a different way than normal. You'll need a program like Power DVD to capture screenshots from DVDs. You may be able to find a demo of it at http://www.download.com

swphreak
(edit your existing post instead of double posting) I heard some one mention "Hypersnap." It takes a picture of whatever is on your screen. Also, make all the pics you want into GIFs and then get "Unfreeze" and it puts GIFs together as one animated GIF.
Boba Rhett
Shwa? I'm not sure what you were looking at. Go here: PowerDVD XP 4.0 Also, for piecing images together I use Macromedia Flash.
setsuko
Yup, when it comes to animations, Flash is the ****.
swphreak
I used UnFreeze to make my Jessica Alba avy. I'm still learning Flash and my trail run expired. I guess I gotta get my dad to ask one of his work buddies if I can borrow their Flash MX CD to burn it....... ahhh it's awesome when your dad is fiends with computer "geeks" at work. I got Photoshop from them too. No way I'm paying 400 dollar for them
legameboy
yeah i know how to use flash but you cant save those flash animations as gifs can you?
Jan Gaarni
Yes, I believe you can. Just go to File, then Publish As ... I think. Or something like that. Don't have it right in front of me at the moment, I'm still at work. EDIT: Ok, I'm home now. Step by step, here's how you do it. First, save your project the normal way, just in case. Second, go to File ==> Publish Settings Up comes a window. Deselect Flash (if HTML does not automatically deselect aswell, then do so manually), and select GIF instead. In the same window, go to the GIF options, select Animated, not Static. As for the other options there, you'll just have to figure out by trial and error, cause I've never done it myself. When you have set all options the way you want, press Publish and wait till it's finished. Hope this helps.
