Burrie
Check out the site, a new character has been added... Darth Bandon Like most of Malak's followers, Bandon was once a student of the Jedi. But though the Force flowed through him, Bandon could never accept the Jedi teachings. Powerful emotions like anger and hate raged within him, and they fueled his strength. When the Sith rose to power, Bandon rejected his old Master and fled to the Sith Academy on Korriban. There he embraced the dark side and the way of the Sith with every fiber of his being. His great strength in the Force, his natural cruelty and his absolute ruthlessness in his quest for power soon set him apart from his fellow students, and drew the calculating eye of Lord Malak himself. In the tradition of their order, Malak sought a single pupil from among his many followers to become his chosen apprentice: one who could learn the terrible secrets of the Sith and use them to destroy the Jedi and the Republic. So far, Darth Bandon has proven himself to be an excellent choice. Many Jedi have fallen beneath the blade of his lightsaber, and he has yet to meet his equal in combat. In time, Bandon may even challenge Malak for the mantle of Dark Lord, for this is the way of the Sith: the strong must rule, and when the apprentice surpasses the Master, the Master must fall. But such ambitions are for the future. For now, Bandon is focused on the destruction of the Republic and the slaughter and extinction of the entire Jedi Order. Havoc Stryphe
Sweet character! I wonder how, exactly, he fits into the story line. Do you kill Darth Bandon to become Darth Malak's new apprentice if you follow the dark path, and then for the finale you kill Darth Malak for supreme Sith power? But, then, how does Bastila fit into the dark path? Will Darth Bandon be just another "Boss fight" along the light path? Or will he slay a member of your team, before you can take him out? Can Darth Bandon be redeemed, after all he once was a Jedi? So many sweet characters! There are so many ways for them all to play out in the story! Especially since there are two different stories and outcomes! Can this game hurry up and get here?!!!
Jedi Apprentice
They sure are making some great bad guys for this game. I can't wait to see how everything in the story turns out being on the dark side or the light side. I think Bandon is almost more sinister looking than Malak is. Either way, killing them both should be fun.
Havoc Stryphe
What? You think this guy looks sinister? Nah, I think the term you're looking for is Bad Ass! I tell you what, though, you're right when you say they are designing some great characters for this game. Thumbs up to the design team, nothing but love for ya! Taos
The guy is just one bad ass looking mother ****a! Originally posted by Havoc Stryphe Sweet character! But, then, how does Bastila fit into the dark path? I think that would be sweet if you could fight him to become Malaks 'apprentice'.......if that's what's going to happen. It could be that Bandon kills Malak.....*shrugs* I think if you're going to go down the dark path, it's best to get to know this Darth Bandon. I think Bastilia fits in because I think that she will turn to the darkside at some point......or be tempted by it. Will Darth Bandon be just another "Boss fight" along the light path? Or will he slay a member of your team, before you can take him out? Can Darth Bandon be redeemed, after all he once was a Jedi? Great questions...those are some of the same ones I have. I couldn't agree more! btw-Sweet avatar Havoc!

Hannibal
Here's some speculation for you: How's about Bandon is Jolee Bindu's old apprentice. That would add some drama. Bandon kills Jolee and the PC(Jolee's new apprentice) goes nuts on Bandon and turns him into swiss cheese. Just a theory.
Eets
The top of his outfit is SWEEEET. The bottom makes him look like an Indian merchant.. But you know what I'd like to see in a dark lord? Some dismissive one-handed lightsaber fighting! You know, like when Mace Windu is jumping down into the arena and deflects a couple blaster bolts with only one hand on the lightsaber. I'd like to see that kind of thing in a FIGHTING style.
Jedi Apprentice
Haha, that would be awesome Hannibal. I'm looking forward to turning many things into swiss cheese. This game should have some very dramatic combat. OT--How did you save that pic of Bandon when they are all in Macromedia Flash format??

Burrie
Gotta love how they name their characters. Just remove the first letter from abandon, and you've got a lovely Sith name Fascinating speculation, Hannibal. That might work better than my "Malak-is-Bindo's-old-apprentice" theory... Mmm, I was just hit by another thought(and it still hurts)... I can remember that some of the earlier previews said something about a sibling of the player. Apparently, the bad guy(Malak) was the strongest Force User, and guess who was second best? Yup, this so-called sibling of the player. Could Bandon possibly be this sibling? Now, I recently read in the Bioware forums that the developers couldn't quite remember a story about a sibling of the player, but still... t'is food for thought. Yeah, the devs have said that there is no sibling of the PC in the game. This was confused with something that was in Baldur's Gate..
Darth Damage
Damn this guy is coool!! I wonder if he will ever rise up to malak in the end of the game or somthing?
Peregrinite
I thought I heard something a while back about you having to stop or join a conspiracy at the sith academy based on your alligence. Well i'm just going to go ahead and assume that the conspiracy will be some plot involving the new darth guy trying to other throw malak or whatever. I don't know, seems pretty obvious to me though. Thanks Eric

dark jedi 8
Bastilla and Bandon could be siblings?! maybe. and that is some good speculation there Hannibal, kinda would be cool!. and his armor is truly bad-ass! any figure collectors out there? the armor kinda looks like the top half of the 3 3/4 inch figures they released during the POTJ line. a mix between the EU maul and qui'gon! anyone know what i'm talking about? Burrie
Well... they are both... bald... All jokes aside, I can see that both models do seem to resemble one another a bit... I doubt it, tho', wether they had the Kurgan model in their mind when they created Bandon.
