ckcsaber
Linko Very interesting bit of news. This probably means that we will see a "mechanized" Anakin in Episode 3!

Tesla
was it james earl jones who did the voice or david prowse ?anyway,8 mins ,a bit short but i suppose lucas doesn't want to ruin the story line between ep3 and
Taos
Yeah, I heard this a while ago.....I think they asked James Earl Jones during the premier of AOTC whether or not he would have some kind of role in it.
coupes.
It actually says that James Earl Jones will have 8 minutes of dialogue, meaning we'll probably see vader (with suit) for at least 15 minutes i would say, cause i doubt he'll be talking 8 min in a row... Prowse was called "Darth Farmer" because he had a drawl, not evil enough.
Andy867
David Prowse was the person while James Earl Jones did his very distinguishable voice-overs. But JEJ did confirm that his voice will be heard within the last 5-10 minutes. However, it was also confirmed by both David Prowse and George Lucas that Prowse will NOT return to fill the suit, and that in fact, Hayden will be in the suit, which has also been confirmed that in order for Hayden to do so, he will be buffing up, because as of Nov of 02, he will too small for the suit. SkiTzoGuy
Well at least we get to hear darth vader's voice in the movies. Does anyone know who is going to be the next darth vader? or is it still hayden, or whatever his name might be. Anyway I am glad we all get to hear Vader's voice but also it is a bummer that all of the legendary jedi die:mad:
Andy867
It is still going to be Hayden, if you read my above post. He may not look tall or buff, but he will be by the time the movie sets the mood for suiting him up. He is undergoing some extreme physical conditioning to get him buffed up for the movie. Plus he and Ewan McGregor are going to be taking a few months time to practice for their "epic battle scene." Can't they release the movie a year early for us:D
SkiTzoGuy
Yea i was hoping that the movie would come out earlier then expected.. That sucks!. Well I can't possibly wait for that long. anyway that is good that hayden is going to be Darth Vader.. Well also i am looking foreward to seeing darth vader in the movie. coupes.
How tall is Hayden? isn't he shorter that David Prowse?
Andy867
Why will it matter since digital camera photography can make him appear 3 feet short or 8 feet tall. David prowse is 6'7, and Hayden Christensen is 6'1, but with camera angles and digital imaging, they will be able to compensate for the difference in height... plus the mechanical enhancements will add to his height, since George Lucas confirmed that Darth Vader in the Original Trilogy had no biological arms OR legs... joesdomain
It is a shame that Vader is in it a few minutes at the end. I am not saying Hayden is a bad actor but seeing Anakin's character throughout the last Star wars movie stinks. If this is the true last Star wars movie. I want to see Vader in suit and talking alot in it for the last movie.
HertogJan
However, according to Anakin himself, Hayden Christensen, the black look may not be in for 2005. Asked if he'd end up in the traditional Vader garb for Episode III the actor surprisingly answered in the negative. "No, not as far as I know," he told E!Online. "It's not in the story if we begin from where we left off." So there'll be no mask? No asthmatic breathing? "None of that, as far as I know. But that's very little. George Lucas is notorious, he keeps it all very secretive." So we won't get to see Vader?? But we can hear his voice?? Wow all these rumors sound like nonsense to me
