Burrie
I just saw the news at the main page of swknights.com that the introductory crawl has been posted... for those who are not aware of it, you can also view the movie by clicking "stream it". Sure, you won't be able to save it, but you can still watch it. And you could capture it via a tv-out, then get it back with tv-in. (I have the second developer interview on my computer that way) Quite frankly, KotOR is closer than ever... and this is the moment I've been dreading the most. You see, I only did a quick check to see what there was... I did not view the text crawl at all, but I quickly clicked ahead to see wether it was only the textcrawl. There's more than the text crawl, apparantly. I could see a quick shot of something very good, then QUICKLY closed the window. I don't want to see anything more at this point. Again, I would like to point ou the NO SPOILERS tag in the subject, but I have to ask this... the text crawl, is it worded well? Is it pure Star Wars? And the cutscene that follows, is it any good? Again, I'm asking for OPINIONS and *NOT* the content of the video.
Yun_88
I thought it was well done. It didnt give away much from what we already know. It was worded really well also. There was something else after the text but it didnt really give anything away.
Taos
It's pure SW Burrie....it almost had me in tears it was so good. You are right...the game is closer then ever before, it's just slightly exciting.

Swat
after hearing abt the streaming method frm Burrie. i watched the 2nd interview with Ray and saw some trilling scenes of the pc fighting some sith troopers with bastila. it showed the pausing feature in combat and the customising screens of the characters. whats more, Ray said there'll be abt 44 feats
StormHammer
I tried streaming it on my 56k connection...and it was a good example of jerk-o-vision, so I couldn't read it. Pity...but I guess it's just as well. I don't want to see too many spoilers before the game's release, so I'll wait to see it in-game.

TheChosenOne-
Yo Jedi Apprentice (sorry man, didn't mean to insult dash) really, did Dash ever come back?? After shadows of the Empire,i never heard of him again.Maybe I missed it somewhere. Oh,and is there another site with the trailers/movies on it.Be nice if a mod would post them on this site. Burrie
Albeit a bit off-topic, Dash Rendar appeared at the end of a comic that was based around Guri, Xizor's personal aide. Some of her killer instincts were removed, and she met Rendar in a bar where they both began a partnership. That, and the New Essential Guide to Characters has the following tidbit... Rendar has been spotted many times since his "death" at Coruscant, and the most recent reports have placed him at the crest of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion wave, sabotaging the enemy collaborators of the Peace Brigade As for the trailers/movies, I suppose you could download them off the various sites. Unfortunately, the developer's diary and the introduction crawl at Gamespot are their exclusive footage, so I'm afraid you can't post it somewhere... (still, you can record the streaming video, using a combination of a tv-in and tv-out card, thus effectively saving the file to hard disk)
ultimaster
Dash Rendar is cool to me mainly because of the Outrider. I love that ship!!
leXX
Does this mean that all of you that have seen it have a subscription to Gamespot, or have you used another method?
Burrie
There's an option to stream the video, which is free. Granted, you can't save the video to the disk(except via aforementioned method), the quality isn't quite superb, and you'll need a pretty good connection, but you CAN view the video that way. Hannibal
I'm working on something for those can't see it. It won't have sound though.

TheChosenOne-
The crawl was nice...felt like a real Star WArs fil and all but is there a way, this site could post the "crawl's words' at least.I'm having trouble watching it,and i'm sure i'm not the only one.I had to see it at a friends house. The words would be nice, the actual footage...that would be the stuff of legend-lol. Burrie
If someone is going to post the wording of the textcrawl, no problem from what I can see(and I don't think I'd be capable of stopping anyone either). However, PLEASE put a frickin' SPOILER TAG if you're going to post the entire text crawl.. me, I want to read the text crawl the first time I buy the game... I want to be surprised with what I read, I want to be surprised by what happens once the camera pans up/down... I just don't want receive spoilers like that.
