Luke speaks of him as if he does not belong in the known galaxy...

 

He said the Force was unknown to them and he became an outcast and all. (hey, I have not played JO for half a year, cut me some slack how close that is...)

 

So I think he either does not come from the known galaxy, the Unknown Regions or a remote planet in the Outer Rim...

 

Yoda and Desann aren't the only characters without an unknown species, by the way

YEAH! maybe the Unknown or Wild Space! I hadn't even thought of that! Brain farts are becoming more frequent, seems like. Still, I'd like to know if there are any pictures or drawings of barabels anyway. I havn't really looked, but I find the forums to be the best source of good pics. BTW, in my opinion Yoda's background should remain hidden; he's just such a great character, I think changing him would ruin some of the importance.
