Guest Jed

HK-47 rules!!!

:D

Easily one of my favorite characters already. TheChosenOne is right though, he sounds like you have to keep him happy or you'll wake up swimming with the fisheys :p

A very nice bio... finally a bit of information about this new droid, one character that I'd been hoping to see some new information about. He seems to be a rather powerful character(the capability of killing all sentients in one building, just to kill a single person is powerful in my book), I'd like to see how he's used.

And I agree with the rest, we could have the potential traitor here. However, this certain line might also be a minor nod to HK-47's past...

that looks like one hell of a killer with a nice bio if you ask me. he would be an awesome party member, but i hope he doesnt betray me on the road. well, we just have to find out. ;)

I don't think we'll have to worry about him being underbalanced in combat. ;):D

You know what they say, keep your friends close and your enemies even closer.

*Group hugs Malak and Bandon*

Hey Burrie, where did that clip in your signature come from? I've never seen it in any of the trailers

It is from the first trailer. They don't have it up anymore on the official page so you will have to find it on a gaming site most likely. :)

A small correction, if I may... the official trailer did not show this footage. I got it off a few videos that IGN had up around the time that the trailer was released. Apparantly, it must've been some rather early footage, because the PC was fighting the Dark Jedi, and for no reason whatsoever, they stop fighting, and the DJ falls down. To solve that, I merely added some blaster bolts :D

Exactly what I was thinking:D

I can imagine this conversation happening:

PC:"You can't just go around killing people!"

HK-47:"Why?"

PC:"Because you can't!!"

HK-47:"Why?"

PC:"Because you just can't, ok?"

*PC starts walking off*

*HK-47 shrugs..raises blaster and considers shooting PC in back of head..chnages mind, holsters blaster and falls back in line*

You added the laser bolts??? That's amazing Burrie. How'd you do it??

I used Blender, a free 3D program. I simply used the trailer as the background for the movie, then added a few objects which resemble laser bolts, and let them fly around a bit.

I did the same thing with the previous signature... very few people actually noticed that I had added a red lightsaber to Malak until I told them. It's pretty much unnoticable because the movie itself is rather small. If you'd see it in its original size, it's rather obvious that they were added.

Is this killing machine a mindless droid like the fedration droids in ep1...."Roger..Roger...":bdroid2: :bdroid2: or will it be 'alive' and comunicate and interact with you and crew.

If its a regular droid-reprogrammed to kill, then can't you use the jedi mind trick on it...."Theses aren't the droids your looking for".

Not at all. This isn't a mass produced droid. Well maybe they are, but they aren't all programmed the same. There could be many of the same make and model, but they will probabaly all have programming differences making them far superior to battle droids. :)

I'm not sure if all droids are susceptible to mind tricks like battle droids, but I think this one would be harder to persuade. :)

I pretty much expect that HK-47 will have his own will and opinion. The biography already mentions that he hadn't had a memory wipe for a long time, which often leads to droids developing a personality of their own(C3PO and R2D2). I'm expecting that HK-47 and T3-M4 will pretty much be the C3PO and R2D2 team from the Star Wars saga, albeit that HK-47 is the complete opposite of C3PO. I mostly expect this due to their prominent position on the cover of the box.

I don't think that you can use a jedi mind trick to persuade a droid tho'.

Right again Burrie. Droids don't have brains or minds to trick. Its all computers...and I doubt you can affect the "thinking" of a computer through the force, but who knows. Life's full of surprises.
