RicardoLuigi... Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 i was just wondering...does anyone know what the little black dots on the envelope symbol mean when you come onto the forums?
NiKo Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 i might be wrong, but i think envelopes with black dots are threads that you've posted in.
Feral Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 NiKo is correct, a bullethole is indicative of a thread you've posted in.
RicardoLuigi... Posted June 1, 2003 Author Posted June 1, 2003 oh, okay. i've been wondering about that for the longest time.
Thrik Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 It's probably the most useful feature I have ever encountered on a forum.

Yufster Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 And passwords. They're pretty useful too. And spoons.
RicardoLuigi... Posted June 1, 2003 Author Posted June 1, 2003 why would anybody actually need to know whether or not they posted on a topic or not? is it some people's goal to actually post on every topic ever or something? i dunno.
Yufster Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 My original reply to this thread is evidence of that, Das.

No, so it's easier to know if so someones posted in that thread, i.e. replied to something you said. Of course i just use my control panel for that, but some people don't.
