Also the mystic things that take generally place in animés are things some guys like me want to see... seigh...I think this and a few things more make animés so great fantasy, see lord of the rings, sadness, see titanic (at least it's sad to some poeple but it's the best I could think of off the top of my head.), the longing for a better world or for something undescribeable that's in your heart, get a girl/boy friend. Some anmines may be all that, but theirs just one problem with 99% of them, crapy art. But I guess that stuff apeals to some people *shrugs* I doubt very much that any anmine has real qualaty like a well done shakespear or anything like that. Shakespear though it doesn't particularily apeal to me, I can recognize as well done and artistic. But anmine, is just crap. Poor effortless cartoons of naked women who cry more than a 6 year old with a broken arm. I think you should get over yourself and not stereotype and condemn something you know little or nothing about, okay? For the record, most anime is very well done with excellent art and storylines American artists and writers can only have wet dreams about. I watch anime for the storyline, characters and mecha. I could easily give you a whole list of anime that is gravitas better than anything an American animator can come up with, but I think with your small mind and low tolerance for anything "cartoonish", it would be lost. Very, very good romantic comedy. And while you're at it, get Onegai Teacher too. These two series should be out now.
