Hannibal
The past 2 months my Xbox wasn't able to read the demo discs. So I went on my hard drive and what a suprise. Every single demo disc that I used saved something to my HD. I deleted the files and the newer 2 worked. Strange, no?
StormHammer
It's all a massive conspiracy to take over the world, I tell you... Anyway, I'll add that to my list of reasons not to get an X-Box console...

Anyway, I'll add that to my list of reasons not to get an X-Box console... Do you not buy a computer because it is known not to lock-up every now and then? Don't knock it until you've tried it. I've never had any technical problems whatsoever with my XBox.
leXX
Well, were they demos that required you to save your progress so you could come back to them? If so, then I'd say it was normal.

I just thought it was weird that the OXMag disc would save files without asking.
leXX
Wierd indeed. The makers of OXM need to sort that out. Perhaps you should send them an email.
dark jedi 8
wait, i didn't think you could save the demos except for maybe the extra footage and music.
Ratmjedi
That's weird. I am going to look into that when I get my Xbox back cause it's at my friends house. I usually never save anything either but maybe there was a mistake.
leXX
This was in OXM 18 Letters section: Question - I would like to ask you what a couple of save files are on my beloved Xbox. I have three: OXM 13 euro, 14 euro and 15 euro. This puzzled me for quite a while as they all say 0 saves. I just don't know what they are. Can you shed some light? Answer - The files relate to each of our demo discs that you've played. What are they? Well nobody is entirely sure but we think they relate to a batch of executables that allow the games to load (hence no actual save blocks). Either that or it's spyware so we can tell what you're having for tea, you decide... Hope that helps. =)
Hannibal
Indeed it did. I'll have to make sure I delete them regularly from now on. Thx.
