Dathan Surehand
How many of you think you will have a "main" profession, like crafting, medic, entertainer, and also pursue a second more adventurous profession? I would love to craft, but then pursue smuggling.
Opa
My maine one is Architect, but since I would like to go out in the wild life i am going to pursue commando and scout so i don't die when I walk out of my house
ViolentJ_edi
ive debated with myself for hours about what i wanna be, i know im striving to unlock the force sensitive slot, haha who isnt, i will prolly go the route of a smith of some sort, and moonlight as something devious
Wouldzey
My main prof im going for is also Master Architect and this will be used the most. However once the game gets going for a fair few months i'm going for Tera-Kasi master. And much later on maybe a 'Bio-Engineer' for a player city or Rifleman. Wouldzey
Me Neither. Too many other things to do. Too much risk because of perma-death. Also jedi are most likely going to be recluses and nomads because they won't want to be recognised or found out. If i was a jedi and wanted to remain a jedi for more than a day, i'd be drifting from town to town and not socialising as much as others.
StarCords
I'm going for Image Designer/Tailor, and to a lesser degree, Musician.
Kaiser Isaac
This might not fit in this thread but............Fss was mentiond...........If you dicide to go hostil on a jedi can they refuse? or do they have to duel?............
The Punisher
Yeah, I'm going Tailor as main, then pick up some combat skills later. However, I'm not going to be a skills mongrel, (i.e. I'm not going to search the universe for the best exp giving creature and tap it [like the bone chamber in UO]) I'm going to just try and enjoy it. ...Jedi... maybe I shouldn't anwer this, but i believe that when a Jedi reveals his powers he gets an enemy flag on him for a timed period; anyone can attack him during this time. If he doesn't reveal his Force, I suppose it would just work like a duel.

Xx_Patman_xX
I plan on focusing on the Pikeman skill tree, however I also plan on getting some scout, entertainer, musician, marksman and teras kasi skills.
Zek
You guys who are looking to get a FSS are most likely going to be sorely disappointed. They've specifically said that about 1% of the population will be Jedi, and if it gets easier than that they'll probably "nerf" it into line(make the requirements harder). Your odds of successfully doing it are very low.

Lord_Vessen
I don't remeber hearing that it would take up skill points, it might be just something you can learn.

Lord_Vessen
It probably isn't a skill tree.

The Punisher
Perhaps later it will be implemented into the Politician skill tree, seeing as how language and forein policies are a pretty huge part of politics...
Wouldzey
The devs said something about that a while ago about learning languages as one off skills. I think they did anyway. Said something about they were considering having people learn language as skills and it will only cost a couple of skill points to learn and be reletively easy

Jatari Bazrak
I remember that I read it somewhere. and yes it sould be pretty easy to learn. and it should become part of the politician skill tree when the Space expansion comes out.
Dathan Surehand
I wonder if "preparing " for future skills, such as politics, will benefit us? find out through the beta whether certain skills will help us if we want to become a politician later?
