mima kake
thanx, well that's the more serious one. It took a while to make that one , because it's hard to make a drumcomputer groove. If anyone of you guys have home made music, i would be happy to hear it!!! post it in this thread please.
Father Torque
, Mima i have been wanting to talk to you forever, i have a question. What drum program do you use for Jonny Mellow? And the mingus and duke one was awesome. Keep up the good work dude
mima kake
I used hammerhead for both of them. And the percussion are samples I made. johnny mellow was recorded with cool edit, and mingus and duke with logic and cool edit pro 2000

mima kake
Well with hammer head I only made afew basic drump groove loops. and I save those as a wave file. Witch I edit in cool edit with some drum and percussion samples I recorded. And then it is just copy paste everything till it sounds good. I use a diferent track for evry single sound so its easy to find. then I try to balance all the different tracks. And remix the total with the programm T-racks. wich can expand the stereofield and more nice FX. The voice in johnny mellow is just the standard voice of windows XP. It's called Sam. The voices in mingus and duke are samples of charles mingus and duke ellington.

BongoBob
Cool links mima kake. I have been a natural drummer my entire life. I always played with pots and pans, and I got first chair in 6-8 grade. I also got into the Jazz Band at my school, so I'll be sure to post some music or beats.
mima kake
great I would love to hear your own made music from you guys. I've just updated my site with the most resent tune I played in. It is a ode to Herman Brood (a dutch rocker who killed himself, by jumping of a rooftop of a hotel in amsterdam. It's recorded in a small studio an I remixedit my self at my home pc. Hope you like it. It's nota funky tune but more a blues rock song. (don't listen to the backing vocals to close, cause they are a little out of tune )

mima kake
Well I can't wait to hear father. I'm realy like to hear what you've created. I''m a hugh Jazz fan. Not only the oldstuff but the fusion aswell. Can you recordyour drumtracks or are you just using adrum computer program. Cause if you have recorded your own drums. I would love to have those drum tracks to play around with. (nothing beats a real drumkit IMO) I only use drum programs becaus I'm not able to record real ones that good. Would'nt it be fun to have a few swampies collaberate togheter to make a nice tune. Maybe a swamp theme. see yah M
Father Torque
Good idea mima, a swamp theme:D . And yes i will be using real drums. My dad has a digital drum set. Im gonna have a bass solo. Played by me. A Saxaphine solo. Played by me. A good piano opening. Played by me. A clarinet safter solo (of saxophone). Played by me. And drums played by me. And maybe i can squueze in a litle jazz guitar:) And mima, if you like real drum tracks, you can just give me some rythems you like or styles. Ill play and record and send them to you. Would it be ok, if we worked on a new song for your website
