pbguy1211 Posted July 19, 2003 Posted July 19, 2003 i was a HUGE Zelda fan until Majora's Mask or whatever it's called. That took forever to play and was ANNOYING! I got through the first 2 boards and never picked it up again. It was so annoying. And the kiddy link games look lame anyway.

Just got to the part where a Racor dies. Very cool. Best part is you can be good and evil and when the game is over it isn't truly over. BigTeddyPaul

I did make it to Best Buy and Toys r Us, though. Although, why I even bothered going to the latter I have no idea. Best Buy had the game guide, though, which was useless. Maybe I should've gotten that to hold me over for the PC version. I did that with Splinter Cell, and I managed to make it through all the levels with my eyes closed. I'll try EB tomorrow.

ET Warrior Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 I would buy an Xbox for this game, almost serious. KOTOR is one of the GREATEST RPG's that I have EVER played. It is SO much fun it's out of control. one of my favorite features is that all your party members level up at the same rate, so you don't have to use them all all the time to make sure they aren't pansies, and the ability to switch them in and out at will is VERY nice. Also, the ability to customize your lightsaber is way neat, as is the upgrading weapons option. Overall, this game gets a 9.9/10 for me. the -.1 is because i'm mad because it is stealing my life away from me.

BigTeddyPaul Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 13 hours straight and boy am I hungry. I didn't level up past 7 with my scout because I wanted 13 levels for my jedi. Don't know how that will work out in th end since I needed a level 8 scout to get most of the bonuses for that person. I am also going off my official book that the game comes from where level 13 is needed for the best Jedi feats. Hope I am not wrong. Could have used those level 3 implants and extra feats. BigTeddyPaul No worries mate, all your characters level up at the same rate. Next time you bring out your scout he'll get to level up a lot because of all the experience he gained whilst sitting on your ship. That's one feature i'm really fond of, because like, the little short droid is USELESS if you want to fight, but he's SO good with computers that leveling him up is NICE.

BigTeddyPaul Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 I am the scout and did not level up. Everyone else was 1 or 2 levels above me. I beat Tatooine but missed Malan place on purpose. Very cool game. Must get. I am a good guy but dark is fun too. BigTeddyPaul
