somehow I am doubting anoyone would be dumb enough to jock off the failure that was revisited

Zargon, I have no idea what that last thing was you said.

Now, why would they choose someone stupid like Dr. Octopus to put in the second movie? Look at that picture, he already looks lame. I think they should have chosen someone else, like Kingpin. They could have made a friggin cool mob-type movie out of it! If it's superhero action they want, you can get *plenty* of action from a mob-movie. -_- And then we wouldn't have stupid Tentacle-boy to look at.

I must admit I havent seen all of Reloaded, but all i can say is...I liek ESB loads more, I like ESB more than ANH...........they still could have made a coherant movie and left out the softcore porn.......also, I thought the special effects that i saw were....dissapointing. I had to get my SFX fix from T3 and PoTC

Standalone, Empire Strikes Back isn't that great of a movie... It's one of the most depressing movies I've ever seen, with an annoying-ass cliffhanger ending (with Han being carted off) to boot. But it had to be to get us down from the victory at the end of ANH and set us up for ROTJ.

Are you tripping? Empire Strikes Back is by far the best Star Wars movie.

Returning to the topic, Doc Ock > Every other Spider-Man villain. The costume looks like a huge step up from the hash they made of the Green Goblin.

That honestly doesn't look so bad. And if they're going in the Matrix direction, I vote they have him do creative stunts with those thingys. Cuz from the few depictions of him I've seen, Tentacle Boy's fighting style wouldn't translate to silver screen. Or at least, I wouldn't want to see it.

Note I am in no way an expert on this subject.

For the record, except for the annoying mask, I liked the Green Goblin's movie outfit. ^_^ (The fact that the guy they chose to play the part has the absolute perfect Goblin face made it even more annoying...)

You'll note I said "standalone". Empire's my favorite too, but if they had just made it without the others, seriously doubt Star Wars would of become the cult classic it is today.

  • 2 weeks later...
you're forgetting that The Matrix was written as a trilogy

u sure? i thought the W bros just had plans for one movie but when it proved to be so successful, they made plans for another 2.

there's a spidey villain called sandman? cool! that'll make some room for appropriate music to be sounded whenever he enters a scene.... any1 listen to metallica?

•• Don't expect any upside-down canoodling this time. Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst) and Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) are on the outs: MJ is pursuing acting and modeling, and Peter is going to school and foiling evildoers.

• Mary Jane isn't waiting for Peter to come to his Spidey senses. She is linked with handsome astronaut John Jameson (Daniel Gillies), son of Daily Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson.

• Dr. Octavius won't woo Peter's Aunt May as he does in the comics — at least not yet. "That is a popular story line," Raimi says. "It might appear at a later date. Anything that puts Peter in a difficult situation, I'm for it."

• The Sinister Six, a gang of villains (Vulture, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio and Sandman) organized by Doc Ock, also will be missing in action for now.

• Dr. Curt Connors, who was mentioned in the first Spider-Man, will show up in the sequel, played by Dylan Baker (Happiness). But any transformation into the Lizard, his evil alter ego, is on hold.

The Wachowski's (who wrote and directed them) wrote it as a trilogy. Warner Bros. said, like Fox did with Star Wars, "Let's do one, and see how it goes." I hate people that assume the studio and the directors are always on the same page, cause it's almost *NEVER* like that.

Watch "Matrix: Revisited" sometime. You'll learn a lot.
