Although it doesn't exactly relate to the mod, but, what's your favorite character from Dark Forces? (Just wanted something that everyone can read while we wait for the new website :dev7: ) Was going to post a poll but there's too many characters to put in a poll.

Kyle and Jan are my favorite characters. I can't wait 'til they get married . . . Sadly, this is true, I always want characters to get married. Right now Im playing Elite Force II and Im waiting for Alex and Telsia to get married, if they do. I havn't beat it yet so nobody ruin it.

It's kinda funny that I always think this.

Boba Fett's really neutral, he would work for the Rebels / New Republic, but they don't hire people like him, especially when the Empire has enough money to make him double cross.

Yeh, and hey, you can't blame him for being mad at Han, can you? Dengar should hate Han the most..... if you look at it in a way, Han is really the bad guy here. ^_^

You're right, Z ;)

Kyle (duh :p) is my favorite EU character.

But when playing it when I was younger, I thought Jan was really cool. I loved the hear her voice whenever I did something in the mission. Gave it more of a... *gasp* STORY!

That was the first game I played with a story, so I enjoyed reading her briefings and hearing her input.

I aspire to be like Han Solo, he is a playa. The original Space Cowboy. I would have his baby . . . ok, I wouldnt but he is still the coolest. I think he might be in JA.

Not really, he just doesn't take sides on the war. He's pretty honorable and all. It's just that with his job he's often pitted against the rebels.

"Jan, although she appeared only in the mission briefing and in audio comments"

That's not true, you're forgetting about Jabba's ship, where you rescue Jan from her Cell. :) She appears in-game, in sprite form at the very end.

Its gotta be Fett for me, thou i actually compare him to Death a lot of the time, Death is the most lonely thing which I can think of, he has no past and no present and he cant have a future, he just wanders the world telling people it's their time.

Fett is the clone of a bounty hunter (this is going on the Ep2 story, so dont bash me) a clone has no past and thusfar cannot have a future so he lives for the present, wandering the galaxy racking up bounties for people, how is this not the mark of a lonely man?

A very complex character im sure you will agree, and a character you can really get into. Possibly the greatest example is in the Bantam book "Tales of the New Republic" where there is a story surrounding Boba Fett, an elderly man is telling children about a time when he actually lost his bounty, when the children go to bed a little girl asks "grandfather, was Boba Fett a good man or a bad man?"

For me, that line perfectly encapsulates Fett, neither good nor evil (at the end of the aforementioned tale Fett actually tacks the man down and gives HIM the bounty which was once on his head, .5 mil credits if im not mistaken, and leaves wordlessly) an honour bound man who will get his job done but takes no personal gain from it aside from the pleasure of the hunt. Very like Preadator from the films of the same name.

My 2 cents.

Collins, did Fett know that he was a clone? He may have thought that Jango was his father. I think this is true because of how he picks up Jango's helmet and, from what I think, swears to avenge his death.
