Lujayne
Okay, so my friend and I are trying to burn some CDs, and it ain't working. -__- Some of the songs will, while others won't. And we think they're in the wrong format somehow... so the question is, how can we convert these songs from MP3 format, to whatever it is that they need to be? (wav, I think) Please help us! Waaa! I need this CD for our roadtrip!! In 3 days! O___O Thanks to all.... ~L.
swphreak
I use RealJukeBox when ever I need to rip CDs, and it's a rare oocasion at that. If you have it, all you have to do is goto Tools -> Preferences -> Audio Quality; then select what you want for recording. I dunno what you use, but that's what I use whenever I rip a CD
Wacky_Baccy
Phreak, Elle isn't ripping CDs... She's compiling them Might want to try MP3 Decode (free), ~L I assume you've got something like Nero to burn with? ^^

Lynk Former
mp3s don't play on a CD player unless that CD player specifically says it can read mp3s. Convert the mp3s to WAV files (you can do this with winamp2 btw) and then burn them into the CDs

Never knew that Then again, I've never been keen on any aspect of Winamp other than the audio playback one... ~L, you ought to be able to find how to do it on the Winamp.com Forums if you want to do it that way... Wacky_Baccy
Not at all, actually I'd have used a ":p" if I were. I've just never really liked the idea of using Winamp for anything other than audio playback... Cos I'm convinced it's the only thing it does well...
