90 hours? *mumble* Even if that's a shorter time than I took with P3, it's still an excellent time.

See, I was kinda expecting something more... happy, about this one. Other people kept telling me the setting was nowhere as dark as P3. But although that may be true to a degree, it still does a good job on the mystery.

As the series progress we learn that there's more about Lelouch that meets the eye. He's looking for revenge against Brittania because they were the ones to blame for his sister's state (she's blind and crippled). In fact, the whole series is surprising.

If you can, give it a try. I doubt you'll regret it.

Brittania is the most powerful of those powers and boasts a fantastic military. Amonge their conquests, there's Japan, renamed Area 11 and the japanese now called Elevens. So, one britannian boy, Lelouch Lamperouge, a chess master, finds himself in a middle of an eleven terrorist attack against Brittania and is awarded with a special power called Geass, which basically let him mind control anyone through visual contact. Seeing the opportunity, he allies himself with the terrorists to defeat Brittania and, more especifically, it's Emperor.

Haha, no prob. Though Geass was indeed a great surprise, since I'm not atracted at all by animes that focus on giant robots (and Geass feature the so called Knightmare Frames a lot).

Hahaha, I guess it must be really weird for someone that doesn't speak portuguese as a mother language to witness people using "Cum" as a swearword. Though "porra" is probably one of the most recurrent on my personal repertoire, kinda like the F word (thanks, censor) in englsih. As for "filho da puta" I thought you had learned that on Tropa de Elite.

Still haven't played it, Sabrez. I do plan to, it looks positively awesome. Gimme some nice screenies from the favelas (oh, and downtown São Paulo if there are any), because from what I've seen, this still looks like a very faithful Rio.

Having not read/seen much about the specifics of gameplay how the time travel system works is a bit (bit?) confusing. I know that some bad decisions can be made and then you have to go back and change it, or something like that. I mean, changing the past by doing something in the future then going back to witness what you just did in the future isn't really something Terminator has exdplored in depht. I guess it's one of those things that aren't really clear until you play it.

Combat looks what you'd expect from a traditional JRPG, right? Excepts it resembles Breath of Fire so much it's irresistible. Oh, and story/characters seem nice. DO you care about them in this game? I love political plots, so long as they can avoid a few dead ends and clichés.

And I remember confusing this with some sort of Radiata Stories spinoff (which is a pretty damn good idea btw)

Actually, I've been playing for a while now (+30 hours already). I'm surprised on how they changed the terrible "Courage/Knowledge/whatever" bars into something appealing. And how easy it is to develop your S. links on this one.

It's been amazing so far, really. The combat system allows me to endure the boring, random dungeons. And, of course, it's not all about the combat, the story and how it's told is also pretty good. I don't like the Dating Sims aspects pretty much, though. Spend my evenings drinking Peromone Cafe in order to increase my Charm bar isn't much appealing.

Nevertheless, I believe I'm still far from finishing it. i've got 50 hours played, so far, and it seems the FES version adds +30 hours of gameplay. And I'm loving each minute of it.

So, have you played it too? I know you have nomitated P4 as the best PS2 game for this year on the Outlander.

It's still an enjoyable game after all this time, I guess. And you've got to love Fou-lu.

Oh, if you liked ICO you're bound to like SotC too... at least from what I've heard, since I haven't played the first one. But I've played Colossus to exhaustion, andI may say it's a very peculiar and fun game, pretty different to play a game wherein all enemies are bosses. DQVIII is okay. It has been a pretty static franchise since the beggining, if you played one, then you already know what to do on all the others.

If you can, try the .hack series too. There's an old tetralogy which I'm currently playing and a newer series called G.U.. The G.U. is far better, but I'll be playing those games in order to fully appreciate the story.

Amazing, since I came to Atlus side of the Force, three names won't leave my mind whenever I think of RPGs: SMT, Meguro and Jack Frost.

Lawl, their ideology is do what you must to get the job done. A bit fascist, but, hey, the guy playing the protagonist himself said that (he's a socialist). Tropa de Elite 2 brings more politics to the screen but remains awesome and much more thought provoking.

BTW, one of the best scenes is when the captain is training the hopefuls while yelling at them that they don't have what it takes! We feel so evil!
