  1. Why declaring your sexual preferences to the forums was the wisest thing you ever did (of course not using a RL avatar and posting in white probably helps too)
  2. *insert proper greetings, how-are-you-doings, etc*

yes yes, I know I have been MIA for too long, however I have finaly got my hands on ME2 while almost finished with ME, so just a tiny question for the resident MEophile: is there any way to let the council die (sencible desicion) without ending up with a system where humans are dominant (which has awfull paralels to integration into the soviet union after liberation, only worse for humans as they are outnumbered and outgunned if against the rest of the Citadel races), or more precisely, where (male) Shepard creates one such system/says he wants it. Answers are prefered as snappy as possible as I'm off to the last planet as we speak, err I write.

  3. *Looks at length of reply*

Oh, and I suddenly got way too much leisure time:blush2:

  4. *Thanks the random hand of chance for being born male and white so that I only have to contend with being ofered such services*

Since it's a bachelor, it's very general but primarly focusing on the third world, with opportunities to specialize in: macro-economics, sociology, social-geography or "governmental science" (no idea if hose are correct translations), also you tend to end up focusing on spesific regions after a while, but the first year is more about gaining a general understanding of the problems in developing the third world.

Can understand your sleepines, reading 100+ pages about the fracking definition of development has caused a lot of damage to my forehead and table. Reading 100+ pages about the exploiting of the third world on the other hand...

Anyway, hows medicine (that's what you're studying, right?) working out for you, learned how to cause undetectable organ failure yet?

  5. Blank stares? As in failed icy looks? :xp:

Know the feeling of having a subject stuck in the brain, I find myself screaming at TV/newspapers reporting from developing countries embarrassingly often :xp: I'm also shocked that some people doesn't find comparisons between Indian and Chinese famines/malnutrition interesting...

I'll probably go for economics, suitably enough known as the dismal science, it doesn't exactly help that tasks tend to be along the lines of " a million people are going to die from a hypothetical famine, how do you ensure that only 990 000 die :p. Sociology would be more fun but I'm sorta suffering from utilitarian guilt (it tends to sting when I don't do what is "best", annoying as hell), and since economics is more useful...

  6. Extremely busy (as if that wasn't obvious by the late reply), preparing to move to a new city without a place to live, a job, or a working credit card. Ad to that there is election time, and since I finaly joined a political party...

I shouldn't complain though, I'm still technically having a summer holliday:)

It'll only get really hairy when I have to do theese things and go to uni:P

  7. Heading there to get a nice education, so of course it'll be legally, and scratch the two years, I'll probably be drafted, so make it three.

And no, I'm not proud of my heritage, it was no achievement of my own, and so I see no reason to take pride in it. That doesen't mean I won't integrate, I'll folow the laws, pick up what I like of the culture and understand what I don't like.

As for fighting for liberty, while I'll defend it while I'm there, I'll probably head to a hell hole to fight for it (or some other cause, the US is hardly the place where it's needed most).

  8. Here I am, minding my own business while concealing the fact that I'm best buds with the Kavars mods, and for that reason can get away with anything. Then you get the fantastic idea to make me an offer I can't refuse.

    What where you thinking???

  9. I envy you, when your field of study is bananaed up places, staying in the least bananaed up place on the planet is not exactly ideal.

    @:Edited for cencorship

  10. I know of that habit, which is why I have a ctrl+a, ctrl+c, ctrl+r,ctrl+v ritual when replying to your posts, so I didn't get too far with it. Still, post it anyway, it wasn't bad at all (though I'm extremely sceptical about any wartime alliance betwen China, Russia and NK, or any variation like China + Russia). And with the current posters in Kavars being such a pain that I might finaly get to use my ignore list...

Let's just say that it would be much more fun replying to your post.

  11. Left: a social liberal party in the centre(slightly)right (i.e raving lefties by American standards). And my options weren't any others as A: I'm a rabidly against climate change, for imigration, for more (and more efficent) aid/trade to the poor countries, and generaly believe in manipulating the market to solve society's problems.

Unfourtantely we lost 8 out of 10 MP's in the election, so I guess I'll be a necromancer for the next four years.

  12. Plan B is to redo some subjects, study medicine and join the doctors without borders, It'll kick inn if I can't do enough good while studying. To avoid that (I'm not a terribly good student) I'm getting into as many do-gooder organisations as I can, especially those concerned with debt and trade (boring but efficient). This also means that I do more yelling at politicians than trying to be a politician :xp:

More damage to the table since you had to ask, might more to do with it being partly rotten than the thickness of my head :xp:

Just asked about the killing thing because my friends doing medicine sorta came up to me one of the first days of studying, grinning widely while going "guess what we learned today "...

So what will you do with your medicine degree? Go all Mengele or something slightly more moral?:xp:

Merry Christmas to you too, whether you celebrate it or not, though if you are still in aussieland, I doubt you have a choice:xp:

  13. Political party: Left, which are social liberals, and center-rightish (we coopoerate with either the centre or the right when in government). Election went to hell though (not my fault, we lost 8 out of 10 MP's, and have been declared dead by just about anyone. Got some acomodation in just about the cheapest place in town, which means it's very ethnically diverse (Norwegian being spoiled brats prefer to live elsewhere).

Not sure if you loosing (your only) lessiure time (gained by living far away from uni) is a good thing , but congrats anyway:D.

Interogation should be done whenever you have time on skype as I'm always looking for an excuse to not study (since I do development, studying can put me in a rather bad mood).

  14. Since you are looking into Keynesian economics (if you find it too heavy, I can give you the basics on skype), you might also want to look into the Austrian school of economics (it's a view on the economy, not an actual school) to provide arguments against Keynes thoughts (Hayek's thoughts are good for this, and should be easy to find).

Gotta have both sides you know.

  15. mur'phon

Very special, just for you clicky :p

And, yeah, it might end in a fun disaster, but in the current political climate, you'd be on the winning side of the disaster :p

*Announcement: due to renaming yourself after something that doesn't exist, I'll not write that part when refering to you*

  17. 10 december, so it'll be one hellish month, which is why it would be convienient if I weren't distracted by kavars, so c'mon, I can even make a somewhat bad post to use as an excuse

  18. A thread in Ahto has just gone evolution, so if you feel like doing some educating on the subject check it out: http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=202431&page=5

A voice in my head screamed Q after seeing this vid, enjoy:D

  20. And here I thought I had fooled people into thinking I'm Russian... It's not really 21 years in practice tho, you can be sentenced to "safe keeping" which can last untill you die, yet you will be "analyzed" every three years to see if it is safe to let you out.

  21. And while his entry was celebrated, he feels cheated for not getting cookies:D

  22. Arc: you're more right than Vanir is about Chechenya in the Kavars thread, I'll revisit it after my exams are done. In the meantime don't bend over for him, because while Vanir knows a lot of dificult words, to see the situation like he does requires more cherry picking than what is done by many who revere the bible. Oh, and find the facts yourself, Chechenya is an interesting conflict, but finding unbiased info isn't terribly easy, so read the history and take anything about recent history with a grain of salt, then make up your own mind.

  23. Atheist call to arms? I'd rather make that human call to arms, as we have just as many ignorant and intolerant asses in our ranks as the religious have:D

  24. Because as you have only just joined the elite, I didn't find you worthy:D

  25. before you say anything, I noticed this before the ban. could you please, please, shred Ten in this thread http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=201379
