Is there anything that can make life a better place to be? Anything I can do or say that could help? I know it's pointless, but I really feel terrible to know things are going so badly for you because of the Welsh creature attached to your father.

I meant that I could use a PS2 to cheer me up almost anytime I was depressed, but I don't seem to have any escapes anymore. I don't get as much joy writing as I used to either. Just everything around is boring and intensely uninteresting. I guess I really miss this forum and all the people not being a part of it anymore because of work and school. I really miss that.

I don't have issues with my studies. I am just not finding life interesting anymore. There is only so far you can go with playing video games to cheer yourself up. Those don't even work for me anymore... I try, but they don't work.

I'm very down as well. Yesterday, I had finished two major assignments and exams, but was not in the mood to do anything. With the economy and the fact that no one really is committed to fixing things, I see a future conflict that I have planned for SiD.

My favorite company, Apple, has had a breakthrough that has wrung hollow because their is no more market for them to sell their products to. I have been interested in future products that may simply never be because there is no market for anything.

Hi there. Not much time, but I thought I'd see how Sophie has been doing.

Yeah, I expected that there would be an economic meltdown for the US, but thought that Asia would rise as we fell. I guess that when you have money owed and the one with the debt can't pay up, then you'd have a problem.

I am very interested in seeing where this goes, but don't like knowing that it's actually happening. Our Empire is actually going to tank and the future is unknown. Even if we know how to deal with the problems, there are too many with conflicting interests to deal with as well.

When you choose your major in college, make sure to check how stable the demand for that career will be in the future. Geography is not going to be as significant as it was before, so I will have problems finding work when I'm out.

I'm also going to start up SiD again and do the revision in sync with new chapters... that progress the story. My mother also has a government job, but she is under threat. They want her to resign or retire to replace her for someone cheaper. A librarian is not regarded very highly, but they should realize how important the physical library can be and recognize her importance.

My family has lost tens of thousands from stock loses, but have invested in other resources, so they're doing fairly well regardless. The dollar is going to lose its value soon, so invest it in gold or something immune to hyper inflation.

I hate being a student. I want to be in the workforce, but there is no one demanding people with my skills. By the time I'm out, there will be no jobs and lots of geography majors out there. I hate the US economy and I hate our so-called commander-in-chief. I'll stop there... too depressing.

I found that the games I was interested in were made for the ORIGINAL playstation, so the PS2 is not as capable as I hoped. I also hate the limitations of TFU that I would rather just get the latest system... if the dollar is still worth anything now.

Been a while since anyone of interest has been online. Now two log on at the same time. How has your junior year been going? How has the economy been treating you?

I'm in a better situation than before, but now have exams ahead of me. No missed assignments, so I'm happy. Are you on schedule as well? I hope that you aren't bogged down with paperwork.

I recently got a PS2 and realized how addicting the force unleashed could be. At least the graphics are bad and I'm not as impressed as if I got a PS3. I think I'll be over the addiction when I realize there is nothing worth playing on it.

Thanks for the compliment. I've really improved more because I spend more time per chapter now than before, so I find the mistakes. I also decided to abandon the SiD revision and get back on that. I guess there were limitations that I wanted to overcome in SiD, so I just shifted to something else. Revan will likely have a part, but he won't be the primary character. Master Kavar will be the most prominent aside from Bao of course.

Glad I revised the chapter just this morning. I had rushed in and made past tense errors like before. PTE is going to take a different where the character development is concentrated on the surrounding people more than the Exile.

It was a very unsettling week to watch a global financial meltdown. I wasn't expecting that other economies would tank before the US. It's like the effect preceeded the cause. Not much else going on in my world though.

How stressful was your week? I can already sense that I'm going to hear bad news.

Well I've been talking about getting The Force Unleashed and now realize how much I hate getting a PS2. I didn't really think about it, but it makes sense that both games I got would be impossible to get through. I just despise the game controller completely!

The other game I got is ace fighter 5. I would say I'm better at a flight simulator than most people, but I can't even last a minute in that game because there are not enough functions on the controller to be of any good. I don't want a simulator that has only (fire missile, fire gun, accelerate, decelerate, view topography, and the joystick for rudder controls) This list seems to lack most of the functions that I would like to have. I want thrust control, drag flaps, drop chaff, drop flares, Air/ground radar... the list goes on. ONLY a keyboard would work for me.

This is the reason why I chose the computer over the game controller... the number of functions that can be done on a keyboard is much greater than any game council there will ever be. I'm likely just going to forget the whole thing and dismiss the PS2 altogether. I just hate how TFU is restricted only to every platform I can't use.

I guess that I'm just saddened to realize that all that liberty from summer is mostly gone now. I realize that you've got your own life to live and would rather use your time for more non-passive activities. I've been concerned that I couldn't pull through with that K3 project and you two would be urging me to keep up.

I guess that if it's the same for you, I feel better knowing that it's just the way things are for everyone. I'm sorry to see Huntress and QFR likely to not go much further, but it's better to know that it's because you are doing biology and psychology. lol

I have no problem knowing that it's more attributed to people simply having other obligations that weren't there during summer months. I just hope that (If you want to and have time) I could get some feedback. If the revision is worse than the original, then I'd not be inclined to keep going back. I also have obligations to fulfill as I write this... I should be getting that done, but I just don't have the drive to do any of it!

Well I recently had one of my hopes crushed. I had the prerequisites for not one but TWO geography majors and now learned that only one could qualify and the classes from the second will pretty much be in vein. On the other side of the problem is that I have a number of courses I've done that will go to waste unless I take several more to complete the economics major. Either I do what I'm not proficient at to make something of those classes or leave them to waste.

I have been revising my SiD and not getting much feedback one way or another. If I'm not progressing the story, do I just annoy my loyal readers? If I'm just wasting my time with something that no one reads, should I forget the whole 'going back and fixing things' idea? I can't really progress the story if I revise the plot, so that chapter I sent you before will likely not be what's next. I look forward to reading up on your new chapters, but realize you've got your own life to deal with.

I hate the state I live in and hate how it can't just suffer w/out dragging others down with it. If it makes you feel any better, the value of the American dollar is declining much faster than the Pound. Of course it doesn't, so I should just not bring up what is already known.

I just wanted to see if anything has changed in the UK since the US empire has started its well-deserved plunge into the abyss. Do you understand why I said your state was in a much more stable position than the US months ago? I just hope that our bad ethics haven't made things worse for Europe.

My mother's side has an uncle with three children. I have three male cousins a few years younger than I. An uncle and an aunt.

My Father's side has an uncle w/aunt and three female cousins.

My Crazy aunt has three sons. One is a father to two.

And another Aunt who died years ago, leaving a daughter.

That's most of my extended family who are concentrated near the center of the US.

I dislike reunions because most of the things they remember are things I want to forget. And I hate it when my Uncle James would not speak to my father when he was in Tennessee. That required effort from my father and my uncle just didn't really care one way or another.

It's always more stressful than relaxing.
