Read the below post first. it wont let me post this as one message.
I would recommend for you to do something MUCH smaller. Planets take only a year or 2, and they are much easier for people to play and enjoy, and they will prove my point. After you make a planet mod, think to yourself "do i really want to do this 10 more times?"
And yes. I do speak from experience.
Sorry if i sound harsh, but this is probably the best advice you will get.

Im sorry if i sounded mean. I was in a bad mood yesterday, and I have grown sick of these total conversions that pop up. They are not easy, and if you don't plan on devoting 6 years of your life to it, its not going to happen. Most people say and think "oh, it'll be fun! We can do it" but its not fun after you spend hours and hours trying to fix one stupid bug that shouldn't happen. It gets frustrating, and you will want to just stop. Logan has pushed himself for many (5?) years and he is only about half through his mod. Very few people have the motivation to stay on one thing for a few months, let alone 5? years. Once you start making areas, you will learn what a task it is.

Hey Marius. I know you have done a bit with modules in your time modding here, and i was wondering what your take on this was http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=207657

I got it. Thanks. I do have an issue of a missing part of the model. it seems right in the ascii, but it doesn't show up in-game.

So for some reason, my module wouldn't work with the vis, but without it, it works. Anyways. Do you have any tips to fix texture stretching?

Hey, i was having trouble with my area model. I just split the model up into smaller parts, does that then require a .vis file?

Could you come to hss for a min? Im having issues with my model, and wanted some input
