speaking of bourne awesomeness, did you know that fighting style he uses is a philipino combat style called kali? (i think thats it). i think its also mixed with an israeli close combat style as well.

I watched em once at different times, and this time i got them all on dvd for christmas, and i watched them like i did potc: over three consecutive days.

my sis is planning a bourne marathon with her friends i think. ill be tagging along (hey, theyre MY dvds! ) ALL IN ONE GO!

just finished the bourne trilogy.

actually, its not as crazy and excessive as diamond studded, gold toilets.

a lot of wires and stuff like that have gold platin on them. i think its a better contact or something.

i saw these Bose in ear headphones at a studio... $179.

bose is like, one of the best in the whole entertainment tech market.

i also saw these other bose headphones (not in-ear)... $600+ apparently it has such good noise cancelation, you can sit next to a lawn mower and not hear it.

yeah, you can even get fibre optic ones with gold plated contacts!

ps3 is hd... but the funny thing is you need an hdtv, and hd cables for really good hd.

lol i have a tomb raider game for my cell phone. its called 'the quest for cinnabar' i think. im up to the second to last level. (its quite hard )

i saw PotC 1,2,and 3 on three consecutive days finishing with At World's End today.

FREAKING. AWESOME.

all of them are totally great, but i think my favorite is AWE. it was AWE-some () on so many levels: the sfx, the music, and the STORY!!

and i cant believe the ending! im sad and happy at the same time!

my sis got DMC and AWE at a super dvd sale. got the double disc special editions for $7.00 ea i think. (<--i know!)

and CotBP was on tv so we taped it.

i watched em all by me lonesies, which, imo, was better than watching it with, say, the rents. its fun laughing the the comedy with other people, but some parts are best when they can be appreciated (watch it by yourself)... especially the end of AWE y'know?

well, right now im at an internet cafe in the middle of wellington (the capital)

i was wandering around with a friend and then i realised i was watching an online auction. so i freaked. i ran around looking for one... and found one. i jumped on, logged in, and won the auction with one minute to spare!

phew.

i saw it at a friends place a few days ago.

i reckon the story wasnt big enough to be made into a movie. it would fit a book, or a comic, but not a big screen movie.

that said, the story was good for the intended younger audience. it has the realism of a good cartoon and it still remains starwarsy in that us older viewers can enjoy it. its also a bit complex: warfare and all that, i think it pushes the level of realistic cartoons for kids. i remember liking batman of the future/batman beyond because it was realistic and awesome. i think that if i was 10, i would totally love the clone wars movie and be crazy about the series. (which i shall watch... apparently you can watch em on the cw site. im gonna go check it out)
