  1. Yeah Death's Door is definitely high priority on my soon-to-play list, seems like a real treat!
  2. Well I did generate a rubber pulley with a chicken in the middle recently.
  3. null Is the top center one referring to a rubber chicken with a PULLEEY in the middle?
  4. I've tried the "LeChuck explaining" prompt with Dall-E 2.0 but sadly I can't share results because it returned photorealistic pirate dudes and it's currently forbidden to share photorealistic faces. All I can say is thanks @Marius for the idea because I'm laughing out loud at this shit!
  5. Well, I'll be damned! Welcome to the discussion, @Dmnkly! Great and surreal to have you here, Dom!
  6. Devolver Digital publishes tons of gems. I remember during last year's E3 I ended up wishlisting their stuff mostly and ignored almost every other game. They seem to love indie vibes and original/obscure stuff, a breath of fresh air between all the AAA stuff. It's no surprise to me that we have to thank them in the first place for RMI. Love'em!
  7. This is exactly the stuff I wish you could try! Please do feel free to also PM me here or on Discord so while you wait for access we can at least experiment together. I have a feeling this stuff could really help with your posters project!
  8. Alright, so this is a single iteration just to give you an idea. I very roughly selected the logo and simply asked to re-add the original background. Creepy evil eyes aside, I'd say it's quite impressive for a single query and a 20 seconds result.
  9. Might take a long while, I just got lucky because currently that waiting list isn't really working and there was an additional opening. As for limits on resolution and file sizes, I don't know right now, sorry!
  10. It spits out any image in less than 20 seconds. There's a very rudimentary GUI where you can either put text, upload images or select parts of uploaded images (this last mode will still require you to input what you want, like "blend colors smoothly"). No manual image manipulation, though. That part of the job should be done locally by you and then you would re-upload the enhanced image to further modify it through Dall-E.
  11. Now I'm trash at reconstructing images, it's not my thing. but with a couple of iterations I've obtained this. I'm sure with your magic you could work wonders @Laserschwert.
  12. It's my pleasure 😀 feel free to request stuff obviously!
  13. @Laserschwert You might be interested in this more than we both thought. Apparently, you can edit parts of an image by selecting an area and saying what you wanna do with it, for example here I've asked to simply remove Elaine's sword and keep the original background.
  14. Here's the first one! It gets quite weird if we keep part of the text: Edit 1: Edit 2: Edit 3: It won't let me upload EMI's cover art due to not specified possible violations of terms. 🤔 Looks like even Dall-E hates it (I don't). This'll have to do: Edit 4:
  15. Hey all, I thought it could be fun to post and maybe receive requests for images generated by the amazing Dall-E AI. Here's an example of what it created with a Grim Fandango screenshot from the Land of the Living: This set what instead generated from the input string "An oil painting of a mad scientist, his nurse wife, their disturbed son and the two tentacle family pets: And last but not least some odd-looking variations on Guybrush and Elaine: Hope it is acceptable to open such a thread here, personally I'm so excited about this stuff, feel free to request something LucasArts related if curious about it
  16. And still managed to make it one of the greatest adventure games ever! Just dropped the point and click, amazing.
  17. I'm also expecting nothing less than greatness from this game. ❤️
  18. ATMachine suggested it could have been for LeChuck to prevent Guybrush from coming back as a ghost after being sent to hell as planned for the MI3a plot. I found this take very fascinating because something really similar occurs in TMI and Ron stated that some things he had planned were unknowingly used later by other MI games.
  19. I highly doubt Ron & Dave will do anything "cheap" for this game, I'm 100% sure they're giving all they have for such a unique chance.
  20. Exactly, just as they did with Monkey 2. It's all about innovation for them, and it shows.
  21. Seeing Guybrush being sprayed root beer upon during the dream sequence reminded me of a crazy theory I had. Before spraying, LeChuck says he's about to destroy Guybrush's spiritual essence (as Guybrush did in MI1): we know that that dream isn't 100% a dream, because the notes Guybrush takes down are real, so what if LeChuck actually destroyed some part of Guybrush's spirit right there? I mean probably it's just a dream and there's no explanation for the bone dance notes being real after he wakes up, but still, if we went nitpicking on that sequence it's quite odd that no one but me ever mentioned it?
  22. Nah don't think so, he already scraped it in Monkey 2. I don't see him taking it back now that it's been used even more in other games.
  23. They at least bothered to fix the bone song synch, I'd appreciated that back then!
  24. I'm glad he closed the comments section down again. Those comments were mostly trash and it's clear they might negatively affect some team members. I can't believe how shitty the human race can be.
