  1. I appreciate this can be ideally true, however money is money. Makes me think of all those rock bands who split because members hated each other's guts and reunited decades later. Pretty sure reprints might become a thing for LRG in the future.
  2. We might just consider it to be a very rare version, I can already imagine this version being much more valuable than a potential reprint with the fixed order. Well, I'd still re-buy it anyway. Who am I kidding, I'd rebuy it with the same misprint too.
  3. I don't know how I've ended up there, but the title pretty much says it all. It looks like Mr. Kierdorf has once again stopped pretending to working on Bad Brain games and... went all-in on YouTube? I wasn't sure initially, after all having boxed LEC Games is de facto standard for a German citizen. However, I doubt this applies to unreleased gems as "The Orgastic 4". Here's a less scammy look from a shady, shady character that tried to enter the games industry from the back door. From better days it seems! Well, the Bad Brain website is dead again, and I just found this stuff grotesque: That's all I got, till next Wolfie mischief!
  4. He is absolutely against the idea of removing the names of people who worked hard on those games. Basically Tim doesn't want text-free poster versions.
  5. My heart wants to thank you, but my wallet would kill you.
  6. What in the world is that "Eagle and Wildcat" version?! Fascinating yet terrifying stuff.
  7. Hey J-C, sounds like fun! I really miss having a side project like that, the only thing I'm uncertain of is the time I can actually dedicate to the project due to work commitments Path finding is what I'm currently implementing for the game I'm working on, though, so it's very fresh in my mind at the moment! Please do feel free to PM me if you're still interested in part-time efforts.
  8. Nice, hadn't checked out the render engine code, which is much better for my taste. +1 for using ImGui too, keep it up man! For the record, here's a very old demo room I've recreated from MI2 I'd exported from my crappy JS engine back in 2014. Luckily my JS days are over and I'm mainly all about C++ now, still I keep fond memories of the engine, which featured code generation, path finding, scrolling & more.
  9. May I suggest going fully Object-Oriented? I don't think I've seen a single class in your code, it's basically almost pure C.
  10. I'd never noticed that the voodoo doll in the middle actually has some beard. Thanks Laserschwert!
  11. Those shadows are honestly embarrassing. Yeah yeah we don't care about cutting edge graphics, I know that broken record, but seriously it's 2021. Having decent shadows is not asking for the moon, it's like asking to have VGA graphics in 1992. Ugh.
  12. That's awesome, @Sopabuenawhere'd you buy that? I'd like to throw my money at whoever made that too.
  13. Every time I think of Iron Phoenix and what could have been, I have a heart attack. We should have had at least another Indy graphic adventure. *sigh* That GDD Aric leaked is effin' amazing.
  14. As a matter of fact, all the Humongous games weren't pixel art. I think Ron made an exception with Thimbleweed Park as a nostalgic tribute, but his normal attitude is to embrace innovation imo.
  15. Remember Jesse Harlin, the guy behind the amazing Monkey Island SE soundtrack? Well, he did it again, I just found out he was the composer for Mafia: Definitive Edition's Orchestral Score. So glad for the lad, last time I heard that name we were all quite happy about a Monkey Island comeback.
  16. Not that he really needed to prove anything, but I get what you mean!
  17. So, Mr. Simpson, you admit you grabbed her can. What do you have to say in your defense?
  18. Here we go again! Three (3!) open positions at Terrible Toybox. I'm dying to know what Ronzo's working on. The hype, man.
  19. Hey Jamps, I'm glad you loved it, I was sure you would! Funny thing is, back in the days "being stuck" for a long time was part of the gameplay in a loose way. Obviously as ThunderPeel said, it's something that we could afford to do as kids and wouldn't be possible right now as adults. I still fondly remember those lightbulb moments when I suddenly *knew* I found the solution before even trying it. Sometimes it happened while I wasn't even playing, in the dead of night. Wouldn't change that feeling of satisfaction with any other game genre
  20. You'll love it! Please do play the HARD mode, as Easy mode will skip not only puzzles but entire rooms and a very big chunk of the game
  21. Welcome among us! I have to admit I'm a little envious, I wish I could play all those immortal classics for the first time again. By the way, if you loved Monkey 1, you'll be completely blown away by Monkey 2. Seriously, I don't just think it's the best Monkey Island game, I think it's the best adventure game ever! Enjoy!
