    Telltale's Sam & Max games getting remastered

    My orders from the Limited Run Games releases of Sam and Max - Save The World arrived recently! I haven't opened them up yet, but I am very impressed with the work that went into these physical releases so far. The PC box edition is especially fabulous on display. I can't wait to get the rest of the series for my collection.

    Just going through boxes as I'm unpacking. Thought I would show off some items as I go.

     

    Here are some sealed LucasFilm Games for my (eventual) LucasFilm/Games mural. Rescue on Fractalus! and Koronis Rift. Original sticker on each state $30 dollars each at RadioShack. I went with these Epyx box releases as I loved the overall and universal design of these boxes vs the other styles of these game releases. I have all four of these original releases from LucasFilm games in these Epyx style boxes. Not sure just yet which of the many moving boxes the other two are; The Eidolon and Ballblazer.

    I hope this doesn't come off as an ad, but I did make a purchase so long ago that just arrived today, and I'm just excited about it. Actually, conveniently so soon after the Limited Run Games Anthology Collection arrived at my house and my subsequent placement of the Guybrush statue back into the box, arrived was my custom order from Comunie Customs, a group down in Argentina. I believe I found them on Facebook but probably from some Instagram postings.

    What have we here?? Why they are custom Funko-styled figures of Guybrush and LeChuck!

    Unfortunately, Guybrush's sword didn't make the 3,000 mile trip perfectly, but I can fix it. Same for LeChuck's raven hat-piece. A quick fix I'm sure.

    A reverse shot of LeChuck's fantastic hat. I have the three feathers that also just happened to snap. I was actually quite impressed with the amount of bubble wrap used, even inside the individual boxes.

    Sam and Max Statue Concept Art Just Sold On eBay

    Just dealing with Imgur nonsense.

    You may or may not have noticed that some original Steve Purcell Sam and Max concept art went up for sale on eBay recently. Concept art for the lovely statue that was created many years back. Four images (each on 14"x11" paper) of our favorite dog and rabbity thing captured from different angles to be used with sculpting the duo in fabulous 3-D.

     

    The art went up for a $4,000 price but sold within a day or two for an undisclosed "best offer price" by the undisclosed buyer.

    Hey there,fellow AGS'er! Congratulations on your game development success. I have already pre-ordered your collectors edition. I was wondering if you also ported your previous two games to the switch to possibly be some hidden Easter eggs/games like DOTT/MM. But I can imagine the large amount of work it would take converting AGS to Switch code.
