There should still be a pre-order code card (apparently pre-ordering doesn't mean anything anymore; the game ships to best buy with the best buy preorder bonus and to gamestop with the gamestop bonus, etc). Does yours have the tactical pack or the explosive pack?

Gift card from parents. Gift card from the office. Paid $4.50 for Deus Ex. Cancelled Gamestop preorder months ago because I wanted the Best Buy preorder bonus. Opened package and the card has the code for the Gamestop preorder bonus. *sigh*

I have to tell you that I'm not pleased with the proclivity toward multi-player achievements in games nowadays. It's not nice to do that to people with type A personalities and anti-social leanings.

I have a feeling that she'll be running for Jon Kyl's Senate seat since he won't be seeking re-election. Bachman is crazy. Romney is un-electable because mormons believe in crazy **** and even if Obama doesn't call him to the mat over it, someone will. Perry has a economics problems. T-Paw is already out (even if he doesn't know it yet). Where are the GOP contenders?

Another un-electable Republican joins the fray. Only 9 months until the primaries, boys and girls. Tick-tock, tick-tock.

Agh. I still want to play this game. But...but...I only have a couple of weeks until DE:HR comes out and I have to finish MotB (and I think I finally found the "perfect" build for the OC).

Got bored with DS3 so switched to AP. Played AP for one mission and decided that picking up mid-game in a save that hasn't been touched in more than a year sucks. Decided that I'm only a few achievements away from 100% in Lego Indiana Jones so I'm playing that now - one chapter per night before bed. Will download OWB for FO:NV tonight, but won't have time to invest in that until Monday, so...

I think I finally hit the wall with DS3. Knocked the dust off AP last night.

Thought of you and had to chuckle as I was doing the mini-games...after several months with no practice.

BTW, hardcore DS3 is even more unforgiving than insanity ME2...but only in the last chapter (I spent 8+ hours trying to get through the 3 Jeyne fights).

Finished Katarina and did a hardcore run as Lucas. Lucas is gimped, that's all there is to it, and it shows in Hardcore. The sad part is that Normal is a joke now.

I recommend Hardcore at least once, however I suggest doing it with either Anjali or Reinhart

I'm finding that Lucas is slightly more useful now that I have his regen focus ability and a quasi-ranged ability (the 2nd tier, two-hand ability). Still have to be very aggressive though.

Son got back from WA on Tuesday. We've been playing co-op. First time though the Causeway was fun (he was impressed).

Dodge is your friend.

Reinhart has a Talent that allows him to slow enemies around him when he dodges. The last fight was particularly fun, as everyone was chasing him and everyone got gimped for their effort. Anjali would pick them off while I just dodged around the screen then pop up and used GoA or his antropic attack to attack whatever part of bad guy happened to be available.
