Did that fight on hardcore with Anjali (and Lucas). Pillar of Fire came in very handy (get it?).
I still consider Lucas to be cannon and I'm doing a hardcore run with him right now, but I'm really frustrated with the game balance. He almost nothing so far as AoE attacks go and absolutely nothing damage-over-time. His "ranged" attacks all involve him sitting in the lap of whatever he's attacking and anything with a shield has the option to block them. Every character has a familiar (or clone in Reinhart's case) except him. Sucks.
And I retract my earlier statement about AI. Anjali is by far the worst offender, but Lucas is pretty bad too.

Yeah, I'm breezing through most of this on hardcore. Then again, I'm also broke and have all "blue level" equipment at level 6
10 hours later, posted in the correct spot now, edit: Rajani was brutal on hardcore the first 9 times I tried. Trick to that fight is to avoid her for the first half and then stay right on her for the second half.

I know he isn't very sexy, but be sure to give Reinhart a chance. Geometry of Annihilation is ridiculous. While storming Jeyne's fortress, I put down an instance of this and watched as 5 guys ran toward me, hit the perimeter and insta-died. While fighting one of the archon handmaidens on the way up to the Archon of Vengeance, I used the empowered version of this ability. She was stunned and taking damage-over-time. I was able to get in a couple of attacks before she died, but at that point in the game, it just wasn't fair how quickly I was killing things.

I have a feeling that I'll be making good use of this until the wiki gets some more meat on it:

I think I got 26 or 27 on my first one. Made a point not to miss the side quest I flubbed the first time on the last one and hit 28 right before the final boss.
I got the lore achievement my first time through. I'm guessing that there are exactly 60 pieces of lore and if you miss one, then you're SOL. I say this because I got the Loremaster deed the first time but not the second. FWIW, it does seem that a few of the achievements are either bugged or broken:

I finished my first run this afternoon. Started over with Reinhart. I'm curious to see how much difference there is based on what character you play. At this point, it does kinda feel as though they wrote the story around Lucas and then shoe-horned other narratives in as well. I had one crash and have found two broken achievements, but other than that - smooth sailing.

I do. I have questions about him. My hypothesis re: Jayne was blown tonight, but I'm actually kinda glad. FWIW, I think it's fairly safe to say that the Legion is guilty of what they were accused of, however what I'm looking forward to is the twist that will invariably come along with the reveal.

360. Apparently there are some minor issues with the PC version and a lot of people aren't thrilled about the port.
First post in this thread is from the Lead Designer:

EDIT: Might be worth it to read the demo vs real-game clarification toward the bottom of that post. I know you played it and were less than thrilled.

Ugh, they spelled "Scottsdale" wrong. Unfortunately, I live in N.Scottsdale, but I'm hoping "far North" means that the odds of bumping into her are slim.

So many lolz
My favorite is that everyone had to drop what they were doing, then consult for an hour so that could figure out how they were supposed to react.
