Hey, mate. I don't know if you've got a lot of time on your hands for reading between your RPs, but I thought I'd point you towards my Torchwood stories anyway. I'll be posting the first of them in the CEC over the course of the next week in daily instalments, so you wouldn't have to set aside any more than ten to fifteen minutes.

Actually, I wasn't "back" per se, I was just lurking. But this time I am back. Sort of. I'm lurking more often, at the very least. Not sure if I'm ready to come back properly, or if I feel all that welcome around here anymore.

Hope you don't mind when I use what I like, considering you freely contributed the Tatooine segments to the project as early as you did. I won't use the exact segment you sent, of course, but I'm not shying away from the basic concept and plotline, as they are my intellectual property. The character as you wrote him you can take, considering he won't be the same one as in my story. I could argue that the basic concept and archetype were my writing, but I'm willing to ignore that in appreciation of your contributions to this point. Same with your contribution of the name. ^_^

I've got Addy plugging away at the first Jedi Code segment, and I'm working on the Tawnos and Ashalle POVs. If you could work on the Osay POV, that'd be orsomesauce. Sorry I've been like, non existent for the past like, two weeks. v_v

That's not the point. The point is, this new thread was allowed to stay open while violating the same criteria that forced the closure of mine. Those criteria have not changed, and I was under the impression that all staff were aware of them. I guess I erred in that assumption.

The fact is, all staff, whether they were around when my thread was closed or not, should be fully aware of the lines that should not be crossed. If one of those lines is the posting or continuation of threads that alienate any significant portion of the userbase (which is in fact such a line, as the closure of my thread proves), then the current thread in Ahto should have been closed just as quickly. Fact.

Not a problem, mate. You deserved recognition for the series, considering how long and successful it's been.

D3 has locked the thread. Unfortunately, her "reason" for doing it is simply another coverup for staff hypocrisy. The fight goes on.

Well, I'm going to keep trying, after dropping the ball over the past week. 'sides, I have my own reasons for needing to fight against this kind of thing.

Self explanatory, really. What is not as obvious, however, is how you guys justify the current thread when mine was closed for the EXACT same reasons that we're asking the new one be closed.

I'm with you, regarding the rampant elitism and near cult status these people seem to have formed amongst themselves. I've hated it for almost two years now, ever since the double standards and such resulted in a temp ban for me, when there were others who deserved such a ban far more than I ever did.
